CARTERI si sapeva già grande soprano tra le migliori di ogni tempo bella la voce da lirico pieno, ottimo il fraseggio, bella sugli acuti che escono fluidi. Questo ottimo tenore non lo avevo mai sentito, grazie per la pubblicazione. Questo artista merita di essere annoverato tra i cultori del canto lirico italiano. que interesante entrevista, no conocía mucho a este señor y la verdad me gustó mucho su honestidad y humildad, que es parte también de su grandeza. me quedé pensando en la pregunta referente a como "salvar" de alguna manera la ópera, teniendo en cuanta que esta cultura moderna, que pasa mucho también en la música popular, privilegia más la imagen, el marketing por sobre el talento y la calidad de la voz propiamente tal. Sobre esta problemática, pienso desde mi humilde lugar, sólo como fanático y oyente de la música lírica u operística, que el camino a seguir es, hacer la ópera mas cercana a todos, antiguamente era mucho mas popular y me imagino que estudiarla también era más accesible. Al contrario, en los últimos años, fue algo que no llegaba a todas las personas, aprender canto lírico era y sigue siendo costoso, la técnica era como un tesoro escondido, lo bueno es que al día de hoy, ya hay cantantes que se animan a subir videos de consejos de técnica vocal, con eso aumentarán los seguidores de este hermoso arte y habrán más personas que se sientan atraídas a estudiar canto y hacer carrera, y también mas público que conozca mejor la ópera y lo que se debiese esperar de un profesional del canto. De esa manera, también, el mismo público exigirá calidad.

Leave it to this channel to start with the hidden gem, Anne Roselle! She was the first to sing Turandot in the USA outside in San Francisco. Which I live nearby and currently work in I have seen plenty of operas there. Obviously, I’m too young to see Ms. Roselle… but if I had time! I think she sounds amazing! Thanks for the post.

Ive never understood the reverence thats afforded Heinrich Slussnuss. He is a good singers but a mediocre instrument lacking in variety, and and insecure vibrato. I dont mean to disparage such a beloved singer, but whatever quality it was that causes this adulation is mostly invisible to me. He did record a killer ghost riders in the sky" however.

So: keep the tone forward in the mask but also back . Sing brightly but also dark. Release the muscles , but never release the muscles. You must have powerful lungs, but you only need a small amount of air. Placement and vocalises are worthless. Except the good ones. Think im seeing a pattern here.

When you are a pro, sometimes you have to go on when youre sick. All you can do is over cover and muscle your way through.
