That thing kicked my butt...now that being said I am 52 years old and coming off the couch but it was still fun but challenging. Mostly cause of the heavy rain and my being out of shape. That being said, video does NO justice to the challenge of that test. It was legit. But glad the club put it in. REAL enduro stuff right there. And the river crossing before the last hill and climb out looks like no biggie on the video....but it was LOL

Thanks for posting this. I rode this section too and hoped someone made a video. By the time I got to the hill at the end, there were 10 people waiting to get up it. There was one guy helping us drag our bikes up the hill.

Any tire recommendations, I will be running this year’s race?
@dylansouther81853 ай бұрын
I was on Dunlop MX53 during this race, it's a good tire for the desert style courses with some rocks.

There are several things that are great about riding this late in the season. One: no insects. Two: you can see into the woods to get around much easier. Three: don't sweat as much. Just went for a ride on 12/15/23 in New England. Other than water being cold when you take a dip, or the lack of daylight length, it's still lots of fun.

That, "fuuuuaaaccckkk" at 16:12, I felt that! But dude... no. Ew. This makes me so thankful I did the B loop! Even at the split on loop 2 I looked up at it and went thank goodness I'm not going up there and this confirmed it. Great job for this being your last run of the day, that looks absolutely killer. And I heard the transfer back was a looooong one. Great job out there!

Who did your suspension? Having hit some of those G-outs myself on Sunday, your bike seemed to soak them up a lot better than mine did.
@dylansouther818510 ай бұрын
I had MX tech set it up for AA Enduro a little on the soft side for the rocky stuff.. It was a little too soft on the g-outs, I bottomed hard if I went full speed.. I started turning comp in and rebound out and it made it manageable.. I do have the Raven cartridges and natty shock though too.
