Also, here’s a little quiz for you! I didn’t mention it in the video, but there’s a little detail that a lot of these players used to help create a drive opportunity for themselves…what is it??

Hi Coach, I liked the video, I need advice, Im training 6 days a week, doing sprints and runs aswell to get faster and get more stamina, Im 13 and have been playing for 9 months now, but I'm not able to get better than people younger than me and I dont score much in 5v5 even though I train more than everyone else. I'm not sure how to get better

Hello. I was not sure where to ask this question. I am a complete beginner (0 experience, never played) but I wanted to get good at basketball. I saw your Elite Ball Handling 2.0 program and I was interested in starting it. Would this program help me acquire good fundamentals and help me evolve from there or is this program oriented towards people that already know the fundamentals?
@VisionDrivenBasketball9 күн бұрын
Hey! You can certainly do Elite Ball Handling 2.0 but my suggestion would be to go with the Perimeter Scorer System first because it’s split into a normal (beginner focused) and advanced program. So you could start with the normal program and then as you get better you can progress to the advanced. It’s also geared more towards developing your all around game which I would recommend as someone with little experience! Let me know if you have any other questions!
@effr229 күн бұрын
@@VisionDrivenBasketball Thank you for the quick and thorough response. Would you recommend The Elite Shooter System at the same time as the Perimeter Scorer System? I want to learn properly and my biggest fear right now is acquiring bad form/habits.
@VisionDrivenBasketball7 күн бұрын
If you have time to do two workouts in a day you could definitely do both, plenty of players have! Based on what I’m hearing, if you don’t have a real grasp on shooting form right now, starting with the Elite Shooter System 2.0 could be a good option for you. You’ll build solid form and mechanics and then some solid confidence in your shot.

Some feedback: About 4 minutes of this video so far includes an overly elaborate analogy about trucks and gets lost in the weeds with all the truck / camping details. IMO I would use a short and concise analogy cause I don't care for the analogy and just wanted to hear your thoughts on confidence in basketball.

question. i play for an aau team and i'm trying to be a second scoring option so i can help my team cause we already have a 1st scoring option. How do i have the mentality to be a great scorer and how do i become an elite ball handler and point guard. Also can i still get stronger if i have 5 pound weights and do bodyweight exercises?
@JJonskii3 күн бұрын
For ball habdling practice everyday watch vids and learn from them , secondly to be a great scorer i know this may sound crazy but just play like you dont care what i mean is dont worry about your mistakes

What are some plyometrics that work and what are the best workouts you can do to improve skill on the court
@t-mandabomb175811 күн бұрын
you are absolutely my number 1 role model. i do have a question: ive been trying to rebuild myself as a player (because of where i started at you could consider it building and not ‘rebuilding’) and i have trouble with actually using change of pace. i know so much about it because ive watched so much on it, but i havent been able to actually apply it when i workout or play at all. is there something im probably doing wrong? i wish there was just a book or person that could tell me exactly what to do based on a defender.
@VisionDrivenBasketball10 күн бұрын
Do you do things to workout on change of pace when you workout? Some simple things you can do would be a slow free style where you freestyle from the baseline full court going as slow as you can. Then you can do a relax to explosive freestyle so you’ll start the same, with a slow freestyle but every few dribbles you can take an explosive dribble or two forward before slowing down again. I also like doing a percentage freestyle where you’ll freestyle in one general area but you constantly change the percentage of intense that you’re freestyling at every 3-5 seconds. For example, you can start with a 20% freestyle, then after 3-5 seconds you might change to 100%, then maybe you drop to 50%, then to 20%, then back to 100, etc and you can go for maybe 30-45 seconds. Those are some of my favorite things to do. I’ll make a workout video on this soon! But in the meantime you can checkout this work out that has the relaxed to explosive freestyle I mentioned: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/fsiWaNBel8ydfJc.htmlsi=WwMaQlKb_sQt030O

I got a question. I’m heading to high school next year, it’s a d2 school. First question is what should I do from a d2 school to get recognition and also I’ve been considering trying an insole like the vktry ones but would that be considered cheating? I don’t wanna get them and not be able to use them
@VisionDrivenBasketball11 күн бұрын
Not sure what D2 means because it’s different in every state. Doesn’t matter though, dominate and you’ll get recognized. Simple as that. Get there and prove you can contribute at the varsity level before you start worrying about recognition. Good players get recognized and that’s where you should start. And no, nobody is going to care what insoles you wear, the impact they would make will be .00001% of what makes you successful or not.
