So the reason why winry or other characters dont learn alchemy is cause you literally have to become a scientist to do it. So when ed or al do alchemy they understand what the materials are made of pretty much down the molecular level. So it goes to show you how much incredibly smart our boys are for being 14/15. Also why characters are surprised when they find out ed is a teen, cause its like he has a PHD lol

Personally I consider Mustang walking into that meeting room and seeing all those high officials including King Bradley, one of the most "oh shit" moments in the anime. It's not some scary monster appearing or anyone in direct mortal danger, but it's absolutely chilling.

17:31 - Overly simplified; Bradley's "Ultimate Eye" gives him nigh prediction level awareness of his surroundings, on everything it can see. With it Bradley knows what is about to happen, so he can react accordingly. He still needs to move on his own, and his old age is slowing him down, making it harder for him to move his body the way he wants/needs... as you can see, that's not really a problem. (He's basically written as old, because young Bradley would've have been more unbeatable).

Heavy indeed. I think the genocide was mentioned already, but this is when you actually get to see it and it's damn horrifying. Though Scar killing Winry's parents... I wouldn't want to make excuses, because it's not excusable, but I think it's understandable - he was in shock and pain and saw someone who looked like the people who just murdered his family. It wasn't a matter of premediated murder. (lol and I just see another comment saying something similar XD )

This is gonna be a long one lol but even though I don't condone what scar did to winrys parents & it's absolutely wrong, I completely understand his action from his point of view. Seeing his family die, waking up seeing his brothers arm on him, all injured confused and rageful & the last thing he saw was an amestrian attacking them. His emotions just moved him on like on a vengeful autopilot. Also the thing about Bradley's ultimate eye doesn't really get explained anymore later and its not a flashy ability so you dont outright see it. It pretty much let's him see people's weaknesses and also allows him to predict & calculate how someone or something would move or attack him as long as it's in his field of vision and since he's superhuman it's almost like his own version of a nerfed sharingan

Another great double episode, Winrys turning point, and Lin Yao showing his abilities, you will soon find out Ling full potential exposed

This show is so good at keeping you on your toes it’s crazy, like honestly the further you get the crazier it gets but it honestly works so well that you don’t really second guess things. For example I never expected dinosaurs in a pirate show when I first started watching but by the time I got to these episodes I was like “ for sure that makes sense”. I can’t wait for these next couple mini arcs frl peak
