Did you have to do any break down routine if used wirh propane ? I would assume so.
@ThePlacesWhereWeGoКүн бұрын
We've only used this generator with propane. We have a quick connect on our propane tank that we attach to the generator. The only extra steps are connecting the propane hose before starting the generator, and then disconnecting after we power down the generator. Hopefully we're not missing a step but after several years, this is what we do and the generator still hums along nicely.

We found it generally safe, particularly near the Visitor Center. If you make your way to Bombay Beach, you might find that a bit sketchy. You can spend a day driving around the lake and exploring nearby areas. For lodging near Salton Sea, you can try this link which will direct you to hotels/motels in the area: stay22.com/embed/6697ccdcd56dabe0108a2202

@ThePlacesWhereWeGo17 күн бұрын
Sorry - not sure if our reply is reaching you in time. We're familiar with that part of the campground - it's our favorite section. Most sites are immediately adjacent to where you park your car. At your site, you'll like have your parking pad fairly close to the campsite, but will still need to walk a bit from the car to reach your site. Not a super far walk, but it requires a bit more back and forth to get your gear back and forth from your vehicle. Hopefully, the campsite is spectacular and worth this minor inconvenience. Enjoy your time at Sequoia.

You know it went dry because the LA water district built an aqueduct to divert the water in 1913. Much of the Long Valley Caldera water is "owned/controlled" by the LA Water district. Also, the lake is only 3 feet deep. It's NOT nature. It's man taking what they need.

We have hiked this trail many times with our kids when they were younger. It's fairly flat and level, not too long. Just a bit of an uphill on rockier terrain as you approach the waterfall. Glad you discovered both churches. They are both new but as you pointed out the Oratory was built in the style of a Roman Cathedral to show the people in London what a Roman church looks like. The Westminster - pronounced ‘minster’ and not ‘minister’ Cathedral is dedicated to the the Precious Blood of Our Lord and the two red columns you pass as you enter the knave symbolises that. Personally I think it’s an ugly modernist mishmash monstrosity. Thankfully the Cranmer table in the sanctuary was removed and Mass is celebrated under the baldacchino at the old altar. St John Southworth is pronounced SUTH THETH. About the Mass at the Oratory - it’s not a hybrid Mass combining the novus ordo (otherwise the nervous disordo) and the Tridentine, it’s just the novus ordo, as envisaged by the council fathers in Sacrosanctum Concilium - the Vatican II constitution on the sacred liturgy. The pageantry is unique, but nothing invented. It’s all there as per General Instruction of the Roman Missal. To See more of the liturgical life of the Oratory at: www.youtube.com/@bsms254

Salton Sea, Laguna Salada and Death Valley all below Sea level and ocean water has become more valuable than oil. Restoring these giant areas with never ending sources of ocean water will provide solar evaporation to increase rainfall in Colorado Basin. The 5 year old company in Canada converts any type of water into highly competitive hydrogen gaseous fuel at $0.25 per gasoline gallon equivalent and generates free drinking water as byproduct of generating the lowest cost electricity 24/7 or on demand.The Eirex Technology in Canada is also ideal for Mesquite Landfill near the Salton Sea to convert contaminated waste plastic into synthetic fuels because of breakthrough cavitation technology. As electric cars using lithium batteries appears to be slowing down we notice the Tesla stock prices experiencing downward pressure especially when California and Mexico could become hydrogen exporters from ocean or polluted water especially at $0.25 per gasoline gallon equivalent (25 Cents per KG) and consider how the mineral rich salt can be harvested for water proof construction materials and other energy related chemicals for economic incentive. Currently California hydrogen gas stations sell hydrogen at $14 per KG (gasoline gallon equivalent) in comparison to the cost of only 25 cents per gallon with Eirex Tech @EirexTech on Twitter.

We were there the first week of April. I suspect most, if not all of the water in Badwater Basin, may be evaporated by now - but an inquiry to the Furnace Creek Visitor Center can probably confirm that for you. Worth a call if you're able to visit over the weekend - and there's still plenty to explore in this magnificent landscape. Happy travels!
