Good ride, thanks! @miragegp how do you think - is R1250R worth about +40-50% cost vs r1200r? Some people write comments, thats its still the same bike (not mention shiftcam +10% HP, and display), and its smart not to overpay for r1250r but get r1200r 2015-2016 year in good condition... here we have good r1200r for 10k$ and r1250r from 14-15k$.

I have never been stopped by a bad or unprofessional traffic officer in South Africa before. Traveled all Provinces and still learning and exploring new places each time. I have even asked one day why they have such a stigma. One guy honestly said it's because they are known to be taking bribes to look the other way for traffic infringements. That made sense though to me, not to know that side due to being called at home the slowest driver in the world 😅😅 and that is because I am cautious. The most recent time stopped, the traffic cop apologised for stopping me and said he was doing a random inspection for a work quota 😅😅. Guess I have been lucky for years

No one is leaning beyond 60°, proving amateur riding. Ok the GS rider has "better" skill. So if you swapped the riders, the GS wouldn't even see the Panigale. This windgat should not have named the video the way he did. Stupid video.

Nice video, although some sketchy passing of vehicles🧐. As you mentioned it comes down to personal choice as both are great bikes. I've got a 1200GS, I have ridden a friends KTM 1190 R, but I prefer the BMW because as soon as I started off with the KTM I immediately didn't like the sound of the chain drive. Coming from the BMW it sounded as if something was loose. But both are great bikes.

I love my 1200 GSA In the twisties, and at speed. Was just on a ride in Greece and had a 48 degree lean angle on 1250GS. Lean angle isn’t the issue here that I can see and also not the bike. It started with the rear sliding out a little right, Then the wrong response was rolling off the throttle, in the moment you need to roll on the throttle to get the traction back on the rear while steering into the slide to get the bike back in balance with the new line it is taking, this also puts the bike into a counter steer when traction comes back, leaning it into the turn and keeping you on the pavement. Another writer here correctly diagnosed a back and forth between trying to steer, straightening and sending you off the tarmac, and countering giving you some lean, watch in slow motion. You go back and forth about three times. Also, you should have had your fingers on the brakes the whole time, 4 fingers on the throttle means your touch on the handle bars is too heavy and your use of the brakes will be too abrupt, causing the tires to lose traction. That the two faster bikes made the corner with nothing interesting happening means it has nothing to do with the bike, and certainly not leaning. I’ve scraped my pegs, loaded for cross country at more than 80km. Lean em all you want, (I do counter lean so if the bike does slide I stay on top and can continue to ride and try to recover.
