Just got one of these spreaders for $100 , it old and well worn with moss growing on it, I washed it off and used it yesterday to seed 5 acres and it worked great !

My father was a tractor dealer in the southeast of Ireland, he traded in a Nuffield tractor in the early 1990;s i think it was a 10/60 , he discovered that the tractor was a test built tractor prototype, as none of the parts supplied by Mahon Mc Philips would fit. The tractor was exported to Ireland by a scrap merchant from England in the 1970's he discovered. Unfortunately the tractor was sold as scrap collected by Cork Metal and melted down.

My Brother had one of these tractors , sounded lovely when it was working but an electrical fire started in the cab that was impossible to extinguish and it became a write off . Apperently most of them finished their lives the same way .

7610 probably one of the best uk small to medium tractor for a mixed farm small compact and so easy to maintain I wish they still built these 👍👍

Which was the better tractor the Nuffield or a Fordson Power Major?

Both outstanding tractors. The Fordson clutch is stronger but the Nuffield will get more power to the ground

I had the pleasure of drawing bales on one of these beauties during my childhood. Also got the opportunity to drive an MF 390T. These were amazing tractors back in the late 80s/90s. There is something iconic about them. It is fantastic to see them treated with the respect they deserve. Well done on a super job.

Fantastic restoration work, well done and may I say the leyland engines are the best sounding engines ever made. Hey check out may channel and look at what we did to our Leyland 804.

Jokes apart, it just goes to show that granddad's old 165 is more than capable of running a "conventional" baler. What l see stuck on the front of some baler these days is totally ridiculous ( 150hp +) and ultimately not good for the baler. Often though when you speak to the driver he will probably say "Actually it's the smallest tractor we've got on the farm!"
