This type of nut should be used with the zero fret, then no problems with leveling

I saw this video and i changed my Junior from a humbucker to a P90 also. I bought a Hurricane P90 from Build You Own Guitar. Drop D tuning and it does Tool, Theory Of A Deadman, Foo Fighters, Rage Against the Machine, etc... It's heavy but the resistance is 8.2 I love it.

Sounds nice! Any chance you can record direct into an interface to give us the low down on the squeaky clean sound?

If you have a ceramic magnet, you probably don't have enough copper wire either, as the two methods of making a cheap pickup go hand in hand. But you could hardly make the pickup any worse if you killed it trying. I do have a set of Japanese strat pickups with dual ceramic magnets either side of the pole pieces, which I do like, they have a stratty but different tone.

Hi , I have a question! I own Squier Start with ceramic HSS . Can I change only one pickup , to have 1 ceramic hambucker , 1 single alnico on mid position , and one ceramic on neck? Thanx

Interesting but could not take time to watch it all. Maybe try making a video that's just a synopsis? But just like all trial and error, thaere is something to be learned over and over

I just did this to an early 2000s Pacifica 012, Alnico 5 poles, worked a treat. Cheers. I always loved how this guitar played, but those ceramics were a brittle approximation of a strat tone. Now I have a proper strat tone. Cheers.

Stereo? This is Great News! Preserve the stereo inputs and uses a Behringer FX600 Digital Multi-FX Pedal in the input to split the guitar into stereo with either flanger, chorus, tremolo, phaser, delay, or pitch shifter.

I played a Teisco ET-200 for 13 years both live and in the studio. I combined the two pickups into a stacked humbucker for the neck pickup and put a Di Marzio Super Distortion in the bridge. I replaced the bridge with a Tune-O-Matic and eventually replaced the first three frets from wearing them down over the years. It sounded and played terrifically. I replaced it only because it was stolen by some idiot who could never have gotten any money for it. Thanks for the video!

I had a similar problem with a guitar neck, every nut I used would eventually get filed down on the g and it would pop out, got a three string string tree, then the d string had it too. Then I decided to heck with it and put a Floyd rose string bar on the headstock to raise the tension on all strings. Worked like a charm.
