I had the profound honor of visiting one of my revered spiritual teachers to obtain the lyrics, and what I received was nothing short of astonishing; it has profoundly impacted me. In my book, "I Am Consciousness," I have already affirmed that Rehman Dar stands unparalleled in his genre. This sublime poem delineates the various states of consciousness (Haal, Maqams), offering profound insights into the transience of the material world and the fleeting nature of wealth and prosperity. Some glimpse of the poem: "Umrey ousum sambhrawmuti, teth aam ous qous, anzrawmuti Rehman Dar chei saele motey, moul zaan duniya chui bewafa Nafah nuqsan nish poemitei, Bo chuss gomti azz taqwa" Through this divine Kalam, even with my limited inner vision, I perceive that he has journeyed through the stages of Taqwa, Fanafillah, and ultimately Baqa and Baqa Billah. His spiritual progression is evident in his words. Trust me, such enlightened souls are exceedingly rare in history. It is profoundly disheartening and demoralizing to witness how we have neglected this precious treasure. During their lifetimes and even more so now, we have treated them most ordinarily. What a travesty! We have remained ensnared by materialism, administrative concerns, and political power, failing to recognize the immense contributions of our Faqirs and mystics to the cultural, social, and spiritual life of Kashmir. It is a grievous oversight that we have not accorded them the honor and reverence they so richly deserve. This is a crucial contemplation for all of us. I do not want to miss my appreciation of the artists - the whole orchestra artists- who have mesmerized me for a full day , listening to them. trust me, I sat at 10, am and got up at 7.P.m, breaking for some food only. How time flees is a miracle. One cannot be in more ecstasy and bliss. No amount of worldly and material possession or engagement can bring such a joy and pleasure. I suggest you this route for lasting peace and happiness at least after retirement from service and active business or may be after 75 years of age. Years after 75 are a real gift from the almighty and the best time to know yourself that will lead you to know your Creator, at least learn to trust and love Him. Rituals builds your fundementals and horizontls but spirituality takes you up vertically..
