These Islands across the world are something else. So so so so beautiful. Thanks for taking me to Tuvalu via your video camera screen. The journey of life and "Being Homesick", and when "Being Homesick" and missing all with who and which you grew up up begin to take a toll on you, distance cannot seperate neither means.

Hello, my name is Jessica and through a DNA test I find out that I have Tuvalu blood, possibly from the Niutao region. I am Brazilian and I currently live in Portugal, in the search to know more about the culture of Tuvalu I found your video and realized that your father is very influential there. I'm looking to meet my father and my biological family, maybe somehow he can help me.

Tolofa lava I just found your documentary and as a 62 year old man you had me crying like a baby Such a precious story that showcased so many different stories in one. I really feel for the people of Tuvalu never knowing if tomorrow they may still have a home Mother nature shows no mercy if not for Cyclones but Climate warming which I personally fell the bigger nations need to listen now before it is too late Fa'afetai tele lava for allowing us to witness first hand your family reunion and the plight of Tuvalu. I just hated the ship that you paid for having such a terible unpredictable schedule but I feel higher powers ensured your reunion had a far time to stay on the island I pray for you all that oneday you will once again return home and that you may reconnect with the islands your family and friends and find peace in your paradice A beautiful story thank you

This is absolutely beautiful and evocative. I am Nigeria news editor for the Friends of Nigeria newsletter, a publication by the former Peace Corps association in Nigeria. It’s lovely to see how friendship can be etched into our hearts forever. Thank you for making this video. Your parent should must be part of that organization. I will share this video with the larger community now.

Nick, once again, I shared this video as the cherry on top of celebrating Peace Corps week with my adult English-learning students. They had lots of conversation and were truly moved. THANK YOU for sharing your family's beautiful story and experience. Thank you for continuing PC's Third Goal in the next generation!

I.have never felt. so touched watching a video . It Was so much more nof a time passed and found with the re union with so many still.with us. It was joyful happy with a tinge of sadness for those who. were not able to attend at least in person . The farewell bitter sweet but what a way to go with the flow.and another delay How great ... So happy for them and yet while they depart , nothing is forever but next time . One Beautiful Video

This struck a chord with me. My father and his sisters and his father and his family were all born in Fiji and farmed there for 100 years in the Dairy farming industry, whilst white and having grown up in New Zealand my Fijian roots run very very deep and I have being visiting Fiji all my life since I was a 2 year old. I'm 37 now. I feel extremely privileged to have this heritage and this ancestory.
