I am just getting my compressor out again. I need to change the oil as she has been sat for ten years. And I have forgot how to use her, attaching pipes etc. Would you do a video please. I cannot find a guide and am a loss. Thznk’you 🙏🏼

Thanks for your words, last time I changed oil, my compressor was running for 10 minutes, warm oil and it's flows better, you need to remove 4 top bolts, get a recipient to capture old oil, to finish keep all unit upside down and let oil flow, might be easy to disconnect the motor and just keep this unit upside down. Fill up with new oil, check level on acrylic sight glass, replace cover oring and you should be good to go.

Am a little worried about this advice because there's an electrical box and power cord near the floor and right next to the water heater's 40 galleons and the always-open water supply line.

🗣️NICE!!! 🏆💯🙌🏾I too have/own JUN-AIR compressors. My 1st JUN-AIR compressor I purchased new in 1993 direct from JUN-AIR. It’s the JUN-AIR 6 (6 -GAL) I’ve owned and maintained both my JUN-AIR compressors with my other model being a much larger model JUN-AIR 12-50 (13-GAL). I’m airbrush artist and have used the JUN-AIR 6-MODEL primarily for this purpose. The larger model was a back up to be used for high volume airbrush art production. Both models I purchased new though at discount cost at the time as JUN-AIR at one time during the early and mid 90’s slashed their prices for artist purchasing their JUN-AIR compressors referred from the airbrush magazine publication AIRBRUSH ACTION. I have gained a wealth of knowledge on this brand of compressor and their maintenance and repair, parts, oil changes. JUN-AIR was sold years ago and is now a U.S. based company and their customer service now sucks. Let me know if you have questions and congratulations on your purchase!!!🎉 Check out my KZfaq page where have a few JUN-AIR videos.

Thanks for the temporary fix. Things always break when you cannot get the new part on the same day. Cut off the old sensor and wired across the leads with a 47,000-ohm resister and reset the Honeywell gas valve and all is well. My new part arrives in two days.

it measures a current not a resistance.

By the ohms law, current only flow according the circuit resistance.

I don't know other brands, but with my hot water tank it was necessary to be close to the number I mentioned on the video, other wise refuse to work.

As I notice, controller allow some tolerance on final value, but I didn't test it. Thank you for your words.

Another video on this said 5k to 50k Ohm range; I put 12k Ohm and seems to work so far for temp fix. I did a resistance reading for the Vapor Sensor and got 115k Ohm. Your video you say something like 43-50k Ohm Resistor. I don't smell any gas but would feel safer for long term if bought the Vapor Sensor. Thanks for the video.

I also found that you can blow out the sensor with either compressed / canned air . I had one go bad in a house where everyone smoked AND the room was very dusty. After several tries, the sensor came back to life. It can’t hurt to tap it on the ground and see if you can shake the goo loose . You have nothing to lose, it’s broke already. Also tried the resistor for temporary fix. BTW: What did it cost you for the guy to give up the resistor value😂??

Thanks for your words, I paid almost 200 CAD for the installation of the new sensor, it was October long weekend. They are on call, so the can charge a little bit more. I locate the problem, but all stores were closed. Amazon even prime member will take 3 to 4 days receive the part. Probably during summer it was easy to take a cold shower, but that weekend, outside temperatures were bellow 0 C and in floor heating for my basement create a nice environment. I was so mad with the situation , as soon as I solve my problem, I did the video to help everybody that might have the same problem. Regards
