Market/All Companies/Select the Sub., Details/Slider or enter withdrawal amount. By removing all funds from said sub. you are selling it. My suggestion is to do a SAVE! first

Nervous bladder means a lot of time un the bathroom. Stressed can be managed with normal work flow and a leader to address it.

Yes I do have a speech disorder and I have been told by a very few people to go with AI but most others say they can understand and the strategies are understood which is what is most important to me. Thanks for the suggestion but this is me!

I would say, get into research as soon as you can. It takes a few years to start getting a ROI, but once it takes hold nothing else will give you the ROI that research gives you. I say you can even take a big loan and once the ROI takes hold pay it off and your golden! So many ways to play this game is what makes it so exciting for me!

If you choose to use accountants, it makes sense to put them on a May-Dec holiday window so they're back for tax season. Is it better giving them a shorter window like you did than the longer window? Shame the team managers don't have a lead manager who looks after their HR for them. It would also help auto-replace retiree team leads the way team leads can autohire up to the team profile you set up. That would be useful. The schedule tool is a little bit quicker if you just want to shift hours along the day. You don't have to click the little arrows on both boxes. You just drag and drop.

Yes, you are correct, and I have covered that in my other videos. For accountants, Aug-Nov, legal, Jan-May, Researchers, June-Nov You can forgo education for Researchers and legal, and as you mentioned, cover rehiring for exiting employees... You should add your suggestion for lead managers to Discord; but then who will do the hiring of lead managers.

Longer or shorter is up to you and if you want to do procurements. All teams should have a leader for better performance and to reduce complaints coming to you.

Good stuff man! I wasn’t aware the speed boosts stacked that well, I’ll have to make use of that. Two thoughts though - 1) If you make a great framework, the upside I guess is that other companies may use it, but then aren’t you also effectively helping your completion, since they will mostly get bonuses in the feature that overlap your own product. Seems like the licensing doesn’t really offload helping the completion, but I might be wrong? 2) I don’t think you mentioned that the way to update the framework is to keep updating the original product. Which is easy to forget, as it’s not entirely obvious that you’d want to keep updating a very old product. Or am I wrong?

Updating the software to update the framework was a bug and is no longer viable... But it is how you can stay ahead of the competition provided you are researching and have great support teams!

@@pd0 You need to continue creating them if you want to take advantage of the speed boost on the next sequel or new project that will need them. They speed up design and development and help reduce bugs. The better structured your design and development process is with the right teams, the better the product will be with fewer bugs and newer tech if you are also doing research! That is how I think of it!

Yes, remember in the beginning there was only one funder in Alpha 9. You just need to set up your funder a little differently and never hire early...

This video inspired me to move from 3 research teams to two. I previously focused on one systemHW, one 2DNetwork and one 3DHardware due to my priorities, but it seems like with some micro of their specialisations you can actually get significantly more cost efficient research. Admittedly I’m usually not cost efficiency focused, but rather time to market focused, as the leverage tends to compound making my companies money printers. Good stuff! Thanks @LatN

I am really glad it helped you with your playthrough You can start 2D early also provided your income can support the team and only hire three stars in 2D with two stars in any other so they do not interfere in the 2D's progression.

I have a follow up question. If I create a framework and then use it to create a program with more features, does the framework update to include those new features, or do I have to create a new framework from scratch to do that?

No, you should start a new framework, V2.0, You can only level tech in frameworks when you do updates on a release or thereafter before you start a sequel... You will benefit from the latest tech and then just add a feature. You will have the latest tech and save on development time.

I think it's worth noting that there are two downsides to frameworks. The first is that they slow down your development time for a piece of software. It will take longer to develop the first one, but sequels will be faster (if you keep the same features). The second is that you can't (unless someone knows a way?) keep them to yourself, so making a framework also gives your competitors access to the framework to make programs to compete with yours. Of course, they pay royalties, but still, you could be competing with your own framework if you make one. I'm not sure how significant these disadvantages are. Maybe the benefits outweigh the drawbacks, but I thought it worth mentioning.

Yes, the first release with the framework is slowed. The strategy is to speed the process up with properly boosted offices and have your teams at 3 stars to get that boost also. You also need to be the first to market with the latest tech. That is where research comes in. I can make from 5 to 12Mil a month with a patented specialization tech level. I notice your game project teams cover more than one type of genre, but you have selected a prototype software which I assume is representative of just one type of genre - correct? If so, does this mean you switch up that prototype software setting in the PM window as needed for the next projects? Or is the point of the prototype setting to select an outstanding inspiring release for them to measure up against regardless of the genre of their next project, like a quality thing rather than "make something exactly like this but new and better"?

Yes, I do different styles of gameplay, The style is selected before I start so I can set up my founder/s accordingly. Yes, the setup software is there in the event you choose to let your PM design sequels of it or start new games with new names of said type. Once you have a proven team you can build anything. The most important part of getting outstanding in PM is the suggested team size!

Is there a point in holding metals such as silver, gold and copper? The game kinda sugests that having them reduces your tax bill, but how does that work?

3 ways to look at this. 1. to not pay taxes on the funds used. 2. To also make a profit if they go up in price and you sell. 3. to move funds to an offshore account for other perks... If you get caught not paying taxes it could be game over!!

Thanks for the tutorial, one of the better one's I've seen for project management. The part that most are missing for PM is explaining the reason for PM and what it accomplishes for your company and just some of the core fundamentals. I also read that you need to assign teams to rooms before they can be hired. I haven't seen that covered yet either. Still not understanding what the action point in the PM doc do.

Looking forward to the play through. Alwayd struggle in the mid game where im running multiple projects but they dont do well and i end up just becoming a logistics company or hosting company. Spam lawyers and live off patents. My first OS always sucks XD.

1. Yes if they have the teams that can do it but it may take them more time if they are into their own work for the requested. My suggestion/Strategy is to do a save and then try it so if it does not work out you can always revert to the save!... 2. I had done one a while back and I think there is a guide on Steam, I will look to squeeze on in for you and will notify you when released!

all you need to do to make bank is get funding for Computer OS's, do that multiple times so you have like 10m+. put all the projects on hold but don't cancel, then start buying stocks and live off the interest untill you have more than dubble starting budget, then cancel all the projects and settle out of court each time. there you go, millions in net worth and stocks, no loans, no law.

@@LatNStrategy I think I could make a quick video explaining this, but have no skill with editing so may take a while. I'll do my best to explain what I do each playthrough. 1: at the start of the game immediately pause. 2: Create a Computer OS and toggle every possible box of features, even those you can't possibly make. 3: Get funding before making the project, in vanilla you should get around 750k worth of funding for one product. 4: Now pause the production of the new project 5: rinse and repeat until you have between 10-20m 6: invest this money in any possible stock and/or buy newly released IP's and market/support them by hiring employees. 7: Eventually (this won't take long) you'll have enough money to start cancelling all the projects you got funding for, the ONLY downsides to this are that you pay about 1m per lawsuit and lose all your rep, but neither of those drawbacks weigh up against getting a budget of 10m+ on day one. also, always settle out of court :) <3

Oh, and you can destroy the value of wealthy companies by buying most of their stocks when they're being held by independent investors and then instantly selling them back in the same day. AI companies will buy your shares, and the original company will attempt to buy back some of their shares so they hold more of their own company, but as long as they control less than 50% of their own company, they'll continue to lose their available money, and their overall value.
