A basic arrogance of someone like him is Oh I don't need God to be good. I am good cause I am inherently good. You are good (to the believers) because cause tells you to do so. Also why we need objective morality because Society can deem anything good or bad based on practice. So in a far far away future or far outskirts of this world, some tribes can deem killing ok, cannibalism ok. So it okay then?? That's why having an objective morality is crucial. I think one of the miracles of the Quran is its name. The Quran is closely translated to "the most widely and frequently read". So many read it and for many times. I don't believe there is a book that is read as frequently and as widely as the Quran is. Most Muslims and many non-Muslims read the Quran. And most Muslims who read it do so many times. I at least read it 3 times a year. Many read it as frequently as every three day so at least a 100 times a year. Many read it in Arabic or recite it even though they don't even know arabic.
