I loved her in the movie "Billy Jack"! It's nice to see that Jean moved on from the hippie-themed Freedom School and has moved into hippie-themed socialist/commie radio.

The trauma is at the hands of white supremacy and system genocide by white colonial structures. Go ahead and judge people fighting to survive the ongoing 500 year-long genocide. Maybe turn that judgement on yourself too. How do you benefit from the genocide of indigenous people? How has your family participated in the genocide? Why do your families live on prime land, used by indigenous people for thousands of years? When people say, I've been here for 250 years. I contemplate, your ancestors participated. We had no Schindler. As time passes, more will be exposed. This acceptance of genocide in the America's will lay the bedrock for a new humanity will create a new form of consciousness that can live with the crimes that killed 100 million indigenous people. This is the largest genocide in the history of the earth. It was so vast, the earth cooled when the genocide commenced.

Ridiculous comment about homeless people's lives being transformed by bringing them there then chucking them back onto the streets. She exploited them so they could vote increase the number of people voting. It was a political move End of. She's very good at repeating ideas that Osho spoke about to make it seem as if she had s lot of wisdom and insight. But she's just a good impersonator - she got plenty of practice whilst Osho was in silence and she was supposedly his spokeswoman. In the beginning I feel she was genuinely his devotee acting out of love, but it turned sour snd she got corrupted by power, jealousy and the influence of drugs.

It's quite incredible watching osho's quality of listening when the interviewer is speaking, how rare to see someone listening with so much silence, and equanimity, no matter what the intent of the interviewer. I've also noticed that most of the interviewers start with some hostility from their preconceived notions, but their tone changes into love so quickly in his presence. A true master.

I think the people interviewed in this video would be totally shocked today to see how .Portland has digressed and what the legalization of recreational drugs and the soft on crime policies has done to Portland. It seems like half the businesses downtown have closed because of it. Zombies walking around everywhere. Poop and needles on the sidewalks. Plus I see so many cars driving on the roads with their windows smashed out cause their car got broken into. Portlands saving grace is that it is still surrounded by much beauty, but is that enough of a reason to stay?

Institutionalized trauma is still trauma. Yet, non-native people continue to judge tribal members for problems with drugs, alcohol, and violence in the home. Instead, we should see their dignity and perseverance in the face of suffering many non-natives will never know. Healing takes many generations and culturally appropriate support, which 1st people should get to define.

Wow... 50 years ago this year. Jeez, it was a totally different world then. I bet none of those people would even think Portland would turn into a disaster, thanks in large part to the hugely failed DA Mike Schmidt, who was just recently beaten by Nathan Vasquez. This is a great old video...

Just watched Wild Wild Country. I felt the only thing that made it feel like a cult is he was called "Bagwan" = God in Hindi, his followers venerated him excessively, there was profit involved, there were labels for the initiated, and the colors / uniforms came across as religious. But fundamentally, Rajneeshpuram feels like the life all of us crave. A close knit community, growing and harvesting your own food, living on the land rent free, being in harmony with nature, not having to prove and validate one's place on the earth, not having to work and grind for big corporations till you die. John Lennon said it best: "Imagine there's no heaven It's easy if you try No hell below us Above us, only sky Imagine all the people Livin' for today Ah Imagine there's no countries It isn't hard to do Nothing to kill or die for And no religion, too Imagine all the people Livin' life in peace You You may say I'm a dreamer But I'm not the only one I hope someday you'll join us And the world will be as one"
