One thing is for sure...there are only 4 quadrants...anywhere.

You divided in sectors no quadrants, and you missed a few things about the South, which in my opinion is the best sector. Fish creek runs in the south according to your divisions by the way.

Perhaps avoid the term "quadrants" and use the term "sectors" instead.

Lived all over Canada. Moved to Calgary 25 years ago. 2 kids born here and I can say with all conviction,Calgary is a great city. The winter sun is amazing. The access to almost any kind of recreation is at your doorstep. The access to education choices is second to none. We have 2 universities,SAIT. You will meet a HUGE diversity of cultures here if you choose to. It’s a great community.

Due to global warming and climate change as of ten years now, we don't get these temps anymore. Winter lasts 1 to 3 weeks in January. Edmonton is oil worker country, blue-collar, Harley, rock n roll. Tough. Very progressive, modern but still violent and narrow thinking. We are, after all the murder capital of Canada, rivaled with Winnipeg. Cowboy, country, and Western are not welcome here. If you want yeehaw, go to Calgary. But you must drive, or else all the beauty of nature, the river valley, provincial parks, is pointless. But we are sprawling with the world's longest nature trail and the most trails overall. Called Ravine City, lots of cracks in the earth to explore. Before covid ruined it all, We're the Festival City, the most festivals of any city, good for residents, not a touristy place.

Good vid - matches my experience, except groceries. For 200 we get a full trolley at Superstore or Walmart, but barely half a trolley at Cosco. A good tip for veggies and fruit is daily fresh produce, which is easily the cheapest in the city.

I was thinking of moving to Calgary last yr, but after visiting in December, I realized the problem we are facing here in Toronto is nationwide...housing crisis, inflation, homelessness, mental health, drugs, healthcare shortage, mass immigration...at this point, its best to just leave Canada.

As with most things, it really depends on what you like individually. If you like common sense and positive people; Calgary is your city (just ignore our awful mayor). If you like negativity and wokeism, then I would highly recommend Edmonton.
