@@REALGAMING2016 I was fishing in Clearwater, and you can get bait and tackle in the store called Clearwater bait and tackle. Also there’s a lot of other baits stores that you would be able to look up and you can follow on google maps

@@REALGAMING2016 I fish a lot with live bait. If you are having trouble with small fish tearing off your shrimp, take a tiny hook and tip it with a tiny piece of shrimp and you should be able to catch them little fish and it’s fun to see what little kinds of micro fish are around. Also I use a lot of artificial baits. Probably my favorite is the bait called the Gotchu Plug, when using these you will catch a bunch of Spanish mackerel, trout, lady fish, and a bunch of other big fish. There’s a lot of other kinds of artificial baits out there that work good for saltwater. As long as you are moving the bait really fast cause they saltwater fish are really fast fish

@@trevormilleroutdoors3427 you’re the goat bro. I’ve been using some swim baits and some spoons, but I think I’m going to catch some small fish with the little hook and then see if I can use them as chop bait for bigger fish. Also shrimp. I’m going out there by the memorial park tonight 🤙🏻👌🏻 we’ll see what happens

You should stay out of that ditch for a couple of years and let the rats come back. You can over harvest rats. If you want coon stay out of the water, stay on the bank.

@trevormilleroutdoors3427
@trevormilleroutdoors3427 3 ай бұрын
When I was there I was able to see the bottom pretty easy, therefore making it easier to see where to cast in the boulders without getting caught. Usually the fishing is the best during high tide, but fishing low tide, and being able to see where to cast without getting caught I think was pretty critical and helped me catch them.

Nice mink, I love trapping mink. I watched your coyote snaring video and that was a nice coyote. One tip I can give you is on your support wire on the bottom bend a u shape and use your driver to push that down in the ground, it will keep your wire from spinning. Good luck!

I’m an ole timer lol , set my first traps in late 70’s, caught “mushrats” , few mink, coons, prices were right good back then. Brown rats would bring 6-7 bucks, black rats ( rarer) would bring 9! Gas was .75 a gallon when I started… I really enjoyed trapping even as the prices waned, it was great outdoors, good exercise, just a great experience with nature… this video brought back fond memories of my first mink, your excitement carried me back, thanks and good luck…. By the way my son has a channel SBMSOCIETY maybe you can give a look, I’m subscribing to yours , and looking forward to checking out your other videos

Good job. Keep moving those traps around. When one area dries up move the traps to a new area. Where i live most land owners love to have someone trap their properties after deer season. Knock on some doors and pick up new properties. Keep stacking the fur up.
