I found adding avocado (1/4), almonds, dragon fruit (1/4), kiwi, frozen cranberries, and soy bean milk (thick type) can create a custard style smoothie without using bananas because I need to control my blood sugar.

I don't have a vitamix so I juice but save some of the leftover fiber to add back in and make a smoothie with that. That way I'm getting all the nutrients and the fiber.

The link is not working properly. After adding to the cart it shows 199 but later changes automatically to 249 within a few seconds.

I reached out to Vitamix and there’s some glitch happening. They suggested this: clearing your cookies/cache, click the link again, don’t change the blender color (keep it default black) and hit “add to cart.” That should keep the code in there and the price drops $50. If that doesn’t work, I was told you can place an order via phone with Vitamix and let them know Ryan Drost of Vitamix is aware of the issue and told us to call to do the order (you gotta mention Simple Green Smoothies and the code: 06-110). It wasn’t such a pain before but I think they had a lot of people try and order and the site can’t handle it. Good luck!

If you have bills that you can't afford to pay, you can't buy all this commercially processed fruit. The fruit of a roadside elderberry hedge have a mouth-churning astringency like black tea cubed. It can't be a major ingredient.

If you make ahead, make it in a mason jar without the water and you can leave it out on the counter. When you’re ready to drink it, stir in the warm water!

I do this but don’t add banana or avocado and less water and I add fresh ginger. I use a food processor and then I blend further with a small emulsion mixer.
