What about the Summer college program that give the student college credit? The student is taking a college class over the Summer, that seems to me a good way to show passion and time commitment.

Nice video. I went from a 1320 in March to a 1510 in May. On the 1510 I only got a 750 Math though. I don’t want to get into Ivy’s but do you think it would be worth it to try and get an 800M to superscore to a 1560? Or just focus on other parts of the application?

How th do you guys ace R & W? I went from a 680 in R & W in March to just a 700 in June smh.
@GenKoe69177 сағат бұрын
March was terrible lol. Ive heard of some variations between march and june, such as R&W being a bit harder than march but the Math being MUCH easier thankfully - hopefully by august College Board gets the hang of SAT balancing. That may be why there probably wasnt as much of an increase for repeat test takers on R&W at least

@@DilanBulgen i studied for around 2 weeks for the june sat. but before this test i took the sat 2 times and got a 1430 and 1480. for the math section, i looked up all the difficult sat math questions on youtube and made sure i knew how to do EVERY ONE of them. i kept track of all of them in a notebook and reviewed the harder ones the day before test day. they were quite similar to the ones on the actual test. for english, i just did the practice tests on bluebook and reviewed the ones i was unsure about and the ones i got wrong afterwards

got 1390 this june attemp. How is that as a score, i would really like to hear your opinion. Got a 140 mark progress from the previous test, scored 1250 in my previous attemp. Is 1390 a good safe score for colleges?
@dahliarasmussen441120 сағат бұрын
I'm not a college counselor, but imo it depends on what schools you're shooting for. For most schools that's a solid score I'd say, but if you're shooting for one of the more prestigious/selective schools you'd want a higher score. I'd recommend looking at the average SAT scores for the universities you're looking at.

IT HAS TO BE PROTEIN. Carbs and sugars make you sleepy. Protein goes to brain right away. Eggs, Ham, sausages...etc. Only Protein. Avoid Oats, they have amino acid like turkey. You don't want to go to sleep. Hard boiled eggs has always worked for everyone I have advised.

Hi Brook. My name is Victor, and I learned a lot from your video of how to apply to colleges. I have a problem, and I am hoping you could help me. I just find out I got rejected from Stanford. That was my dream school. I thought for sure I got in because I found an online company that sells stress balls to relieve people's stress. I saw other webinars that taught you how to be exceptional, and not just doing what most applicants do, which is just getting good grades, good SAT scores, and activities most applicants do. I thought most applicants don't found online companies because this is something that is unique since most applicants don't do online companies. They just do activities most people do in schools, which is whatever clubs have at school. So I thought I got in Stanford because I did something exceptional and most applicants didn't do. But somehow I still got rejected. Could you give me reasons why Stanford rejected me? I am sure you could tell me since you are an expertise in college admissions. If you serve in the committee that recruits students, then you must tell me. Could you also give me suggestions what kind of activities I should join so I could get into Stanford. Also could you tell me this: is it because Stanford get a sense my online business doesn't generate any sales so it rejected me. But how would they know. Or they psyche me out and know. Could you tell me about this too. Please email me. Thank you for your attention Brooke.

Offhand I would say check your grammar, word choice and spelling… it could be your level of fluency or TOEFL… but Stanford overall is highly competitive and excellent candidates sometimes get rejected

It’s neither here nor there I don’t see any of these is superior to the others. The big question is what stories can you tell and how do your experiences in these activities reveal who you are? That’s what you can Ileverage in your app the most.

Hey there, I have a question to ask( heads up it's long, so thanks in advance). I m in my first year of bachelors of physiotherapy in india. I want to go to Harvard medical school. What would med schools favor more- 1. Undergrad from a US state uni(after taking transfer from india)? 2. Undergrad from india, but a masters(MMSc immunology for eg)'from an Ivy like Harvard( provided I get in). If I choose transfer, I ll be limited to state unis cz of my course and fees. For masters, however, I can apply to ivies as well. *(In either case, I ll supplement my education with a post-bacc pre-med program as well)
