hi trynda, im trying to understand your early build order for vietnam. Why go markets after encampment, instead of 3encamp->3campus+plaza->2market? if finish the campus before game and entertain, doesnt it give both market discount? what's the consideration for market first? ty!

Vietnam encampments are half price, and aren’t a speciality district, they get 2 culture per adjacent district so really good early.

Arabia had really good stats in the beginning, but how did he have 60 culture on turn 43. When I play Arabia I really struggle with culture, and should he have made more cities so as to not get outsimmeded late-game?

Wusste gar nicht, dass fu Deutsch sprichst ^^ Hab dich über Herson entdeckt und deinem Science rekord. Und herson hab ich auch erst vor einer woche entdeckt durch sein virales Video in der Civ community. Habe mehr 1000 civ6 Stunden und jetzt erst davon erfahren, dass Produktionskosten von Bezirken mit Tech scalen. Ich finde das tatsächlich sehr komisch, weil Arbeiter und Siedler ein Internes Scaling haben...

Ja die Mechanic ist schon ein bisschen counter-intuitiv, aber man muss sich auf jeden Fall dran gewöhnen wenn man das maximale aus seinem Spiel rausholen will. Liebe Grüße :)

I was 100% sure you were going to lose after varu push failed. Actually insane you couldn't push thru some swordsmen, floodplain in front of cap defended him really well. But papa trynda always manage to win.

@@TryndaCiv oooh well personally Id find a guide on how you think. I am quite new to civ (around 200hrs) and so when I see you making decisions I rarely understand why. The most complex thing i understand is probably not getting many techs until U place districts cheaply, but I have no idea when to stop that method of thinking or when to break that rule and get irrigation for example. I don't want to get too specific cuz my issues are probably rare but understanding why and when you make decisions would help a lot.

I have been playing a lot of Tamar recently and was wondering about the best build order. I have been going Moksha 2 holy sites commercial hubs, walls, and then campuses. I was wondering whether I should go for papal primacy or lay ministry with this strategy or if papal is still the best. Perhaps the order is also wrong and walls should be rushed first or something, could you enlighten me master Trynda.

The usual build for tamar is: Walls first, then 1 holy site and 1 stonehenge in another city, Religion: Jesuit Education / Papal Primacy, and after that you can go anything from discounted campus, theaters commercials etc. (just dont do more holy sites.) In 2nd age take pen brush and use the faith from walls to faith buy all Campus and Theater buildings

Yes, he always trades someone for the Civ (today it was me). Still impressive that he always gets that civ,. it wouldnt work for me. And he said its the only Civ that he really enjoys playing.

Vietnam is a strong civ (not the strongest though) and is very good at getting early stats if you do a Campus / Than (unique district) setup. But still stats are not everything

Why did u rush trader in b2, I normally go monuments. Is it because ikanda will give u culture already, or is the trader just super useful in this case

You rush trader in almost any game. If you can build the trader you should always do it because it gives you +1+1 so you basically have a 3/3 base instead of 2-2 in a city for example.
