I live in Florida and the heat is too much for yetis to stay in the sun for too long, their lids start to bow out . They use polethylene while Pelican uses polypropylene which has a melting point 100 degrees hotter. Pelican is the right answer for me.

I love NM! Got family in Capitan. I ride an adventure bike and did the Continental Divide which passes through NM. Would love to explore more. I also have a CFMoto 800, but it's the trail version. (50"). If you find yourself in Idaho, look me up. Plenty of good exploring here as well.

Quick question about the battery connections; I removed mine a while back and now forgot where they go. There are 5 connections. 2 are black and obviously negative and 2 are red and obviously positive BUT there are 2 red cables with a white stripe that have black insulation tape around them. I thus don't know to which terminal they go. Any help & advice appreciated as I don't wanna connect incorrectly and cause damage to the buggy and my wallet.

Hello Sean! Yes I believe it is. Most of the machine uses parts that were retired from other brands. I believe it is because CFMoto was the OEM for these brands. I love our CFMoto because for the price you get all of the upgrades and still cheaper than the big brands. I am actually thinking of getting a new one soon. Thank you for watching and your support. Hi. Bea did pretty well on her ride so that's good. It looks kind of cold there judging by how you're dressed by and I'm no expert but Bea might need a doggy coat if you're cruising 30 mph in cold weather so she doesn't go hypothermic? I got one at Amazon really cheap $20 for a 70 lb dog. I took my dog on walks in cold weather and steam was rising from her fur. She seems happier with it on. Cheers.

Thanks Paul for your comment. Yes it can get very cold, because Bea is part Pyrenees she does good in the cold. This video was done a couple of years ago and now her and I have put in over a thousand miles on this setup. If it gets cold I put a horse blanket down on the bottom, but we do not do a lot of cold weather riding. Thanks again for you watching and your support! Rob

I just got the 2022 Trail, same color. I gotta admit, the doors are still "wonky". But all the rest seems good. I do think a lot of the dealers are playing catch up regarding service. They don't yet know much about these machines. But many of the dealers that typically only sold the big names in the past are now picking up this brand so I suspect that will change fairly quickly. I used to live near that area (Sandias). I recognized them in an instant. Great video.

I've had issues with the EFI light flashing on and off. And overheating problems on my cfmoto 2019 zforce 800 ex eps. 238 miles, bought it new 2019. Changed all fluids and filters at the dealer. They never caught the EFI light flashing or the burnt out fan fuse which I decided to check out on my own when the atv threw up anti freeze. During a 1 hour very slow ride. Fuse box under the front trunk hood, you will need to remove the flooring tray. 6 screws and a bolt. Easy. The fuse box also has the fan relay sensor. I assume I will have to replace that if the fan fuse continues to burn out. No thermo switches in the 2019. My question is, is the fan blade suppose to free spin when the engine is not running? I read the fan doesn't come on til 200 degrees.

The access to the battery (please see the video I did on this one) is easy to get to. The air filter and oil changes are easy as well. Great and informative video, thank you. We are planning a trip to Silverton next year. We plan on going on Sep 15, 2022. Do you think that would be a good time of the year to ride the Alpine Loop? Also, I've heard that OHV's are no longer allowed on the roads in Silverton CO. With that in mind, is there a trailhead nearby for the Alpine Loop were we could trailer our UTV to?
@YoroAdventures
@YoroAdventures 2 жыл бұрын
Thank you for watching our video! We love Silverton, but have not heard about them restricting riding in the town which would be a shame. There are a couple of large staging areas right before going up the road into the Alpine Loop. There is also a campground at the entrance that we stay at for our first night that has large accommodations. I would not worry about finding a place to park and unload. Basically there are three entrances on the Silverton side to the Alpine Loop. The road gets a little rough if you are pulling a big trailer, but there are flat areas around the entrances that gives you spaces to park or picnic. September would be a busy time but the weather will be really nice. Still pack for rain/snow because at the peaks you get a whole different weather pattern. We were there in September and it was 50 degrees on the peak so we went from shorts to very cold very quickly. Thanks again! Rob

Good job on the video, and nice walk around. I’ve been looking for a side x side for quite a while. But I haven’t completely made up my mind yet on a particular brand. Whether it’s Polaris or CFMoto. I rented a new rzr trail s 1000 premium on a trip we took out to South Dakota. It’s one heckava machine to ride and I’m a bigger guy and I could fit inside fairly comfortably with plenty of leg room. I haven’t driven or seen any 800ex’s yet other than on here so I’m not sure on how well I fit. One thing I’ve been noticing though is that they (CFMoto) has really good reviews on them. Which makes a guy a little more confident. I guess all I have left to do is set up a test drive. If that’s allowed.
