Cameraman: Hints: Stay zoomed out fully and don't whip the camera around. Causes dizziness and nausea for the viewer. Pretend it has a broken wing and nurse it as you turn. Try to live through the camera so you maintain proper framing. If you really want to go wild, put the camera on a closed tripod, hold the rig from a few inches down on the tripod shaft. Poor mans gimble. If you'd like, I could talk one of the car builders into making you a steadi-cam... (thanks!)

@@alanhodge984 if you reatore Brit bikes you can definitely build one of these! The normal approach is to pick a pre-ww2 race car for inspiration, but there is at least one ww2 aircraft inspired one out there

Good stuff Ben! Hey you may want to look into a bench mounted throat less sheer. Very affordable and FBMP often has them used for $100. For trimming aluminum in the thickness we do it’s a breeze left or right, you can slice an 1/8” off very easy.

I think the T 10 was the best static line parachute. It had a quick descent but other than that it was reliable and to me much safer than the new parachutes. Unlike today we rarely had streamers or mae west partial openings.

Absolutely gorgeous builds!!! We need one of these out here in the East. I am planning own moving back down to Florida or South Carolina and am really thinking about buying enough land to make a race track similar to Goodwood where we can have cycle karts, cycle Cars and even larger prewar racers that anyone who owns one can come and join in the fun. I am thinking about a dirt track at first and then see if we should go to asphalt or cement. Great video my friend....My plans right now are starting a KZfaq channel and using the machine shop I have assembled to make parts for my Restomod projects. The first one is a 1928 Morgan/MG special 3 wheeler with 4 wheels. I am building a supercharged opposed twin engine from an experimental aircraft. I am casting an adapter out of aluminum to mate that engine to an MG 4 speed manual gearbox connected to an MG differential with juice brakes and beautiful wire wheels. It is an aircraft cloth stretched over a wooden frame over steel sprayed with plasticizer for durability. It will have a Brooklands style Boat-Tail and look exactly like a 20's airplane without a propeller or wings. The next project will be a Boat -Tail Pembleton style cycle car with a BMW R-100 turbocharged opposed twin also mated to an MG 4 speed manual gearbox ending in a 10 bolt limited slip differential and either ceconite covered or mild steel or aluminum painted dark sanguine red or British Racing Green. I am recovering from getting run over by an F350 on my 1957 Harley Panhead and I will be starting as soon as it is warm enough to work outside in the barn here in Pennsylvania. Hope to see you there ....I will be calling my channel Machines and Motors tentatively...

Very nice!! New Subscriber here.... I am starting a KZfaq channel with the build of a 1928 RIP GN/MG restomod special 3 wheeler with 4 wheels. I have been assembling a decent machine shop so that I will be able to make any parts I need for this or any of my other projects. I am planning on starting this project as soon as it gets warm enough to work out in the barn shop. It is a 1928 Morgan with a wooden frame over steel and an experimental aircraft supercharged opposed twin engine. I am going ot adapt this engine to an MG 4 speed manual gearbox with the use of a two part hand cast aluminum um adapter plate. The gearbox will connect to an MG differential with awesome wire wheels. The body is made from stretched aircraft fabric sprayed with plasticizer for stiffness. There is only one 1928 RIP aero 3 wheels with 4 wheels that is currently being raced by Charlie Martin in the hillclimb races as well as the Goodwood revivals in the UK. I plan on taking mine to join in the festivities next year or the year after just like the American doctor does with Ol'Yeller to join in the races. I hope to see you there.

I see a LOT of bubble wrap on the parts and then places inside the body. A good shipping company should be able to help you with the crating of the body. They may require you to fully remove any oil and fuel from engine/fuel tank. Kart looks great.
