Me and my brothers got an Action Max back when it was brand new for Christmas from our grandmother. I think the "console" came packed with Sonic Fury, so we had that VHS and we got Pops Ghostly separately. And those were the only two "games" we ever had for it, we played the crap out of it for a few days but the fun wore off quickly and we went back to our NES or Atari, whatever real gaming console was popular at the time. Thanks for the nostalgia trip, and the loving memories of my grandmother.

Here we are in 2024 and I've never played Super Mario all stars and I'm 45 years old.....picked up a super nintendo yesterday and All stars today.....can't wait to go home and play! Loved Super Mario 1 and 3 on NES when I was a kid but never really played super Nintendo....looking forward to playing these updated classics

It feels odd that Steve Wiebe presents himself as being ambivalent about Billy Mitchell's fakery. Anyone with a modicum of interest in the technology can easily see that Billy Mitchell's submissions were not from original Arcade gameplay. We don't even have to touch the subject of whether or not Billy Mitchell cheated while playing on MAME, it is already sufficient that Billy Mitchell lied about playing on original hardware. If Steve Wiebe is really that cool with Billy's dishonesty, more power to him and it is probably smart of him to avoid becoming the next one who is sued by Billy Mitchell. All I can say is respect to Steve Wiebe's genuine achievements and I'm glad he apparently found some kind of peace regarding this despicable episode put in motion by selfish people with extremely sketchy moral standards.
