That looks amazing and just the place for me as I am a beginner. There are no cliff edges and it all looks flat and wide. A few questions please: - is this all part of Alpe de’huez or does it require separate ski passes? - approximately how much does the ski equipment and clothing hire cost? - finally, how long are these runs? Thanks in advance.
@georgemackley5432
@georgemackley5432 4 ай бұрын
All the runs in Alpe D'Huez are on one ski pass around 240 euros for 6 days. I would buy my own clothes but skiset on the web hire boots helmet and skis for about 115 euros. The runs down the from 2800 are 2 to 3 Kms long. However what is brilliant about Alpe D'Huez is all the green runs are around the village. Other resorts greens are a bus ride away or the topic of the mountain. I hope this helps 😄

Very inspiring - credit to you all for getting to the top of Baugh Fell. It's one near the top of my list of to do's of the Dales 30 so was curious to see this video. Really enjoyed it. I heard it is the least climbed of the Dales 30 because of the long walk ins to access it and because it is so incredibly boggy!! Thats why take my hat off to anyone I ever hear who has climbed it. I also think it has a powerful presence especially especially from the Garsdale side. Well done again.

Absolutely loving your videos, thank you for posting. Have skied (badly) all over the world, and there are few places as amazing as alpe de huez. I've been watching your vids and studying the piste map to try and pick together the longest runs (we're comfortable on blues only really) - a couple of questions you may be able to answer since you seem to know the place inside out: it looks like there is a long blue run called Village that runs all the way down to huez - is this doable at the moment? If we were to ski Les Farcis all the way down to Maronne, and then take the lift back up, can you join le col or les bucherons from the top? The map makes it look like the lift drops off at a red only. Lastly, is there a way of getting from les jeux down to the bottom of the poutran 1 lift on blues only - we'd love to take l'alpette lift and ski chalets/edelweiss etc. And, if that is possible, can you get back across from montfrais side? - it's not obvious from piste map whether there is easy access back and forth between the l'alpette lift and poutran 1. Any advice and recommendations at all would be greatly appreciated, we're heading out there in two weeks and can barely function with excitement.
@georgemackley5432
@georgemackley5432 Жыл бұрын
Wow thank you Phillip. 1. The run down from the village. Take the signal lift up and ski down Marcel and continue down a blue alongside the village down to Huez. 2. The run down to Maronne is has a lift which takes you not to the top but into Le Col which you ski down to take the lift up to Les Bucherons 3. The only way to l'alpette and the lovely blues there is to ski and easy red from DMC lift two. There is a long steep down but it has a long run out to a stop. How brave are you? Anyway have a lovely time when you get there
