Do you find the best time to go is a falling tide?
@vinhttrinh4 ай бұрын
Yes i always do better couple hours before peak lowtide. Example: lowtide at 3am, i would go at 1am depending how low it gets. If its a negative lowtide i would go 4hrs ahead
@getthenet10154 ай бұрын
@@vinhttrinh thanks so much for the info! Ive been 4 times and only seen one small one! Probably time i check the tides haha
@vinhttrinh4 ай бұрын
@@getthenet1015 well location makes a difference also. Find places with sand bars. When tide changes, the flounders like to burry themself along sand bars so they can ambush bait fish as they cross over the sandbars during tide changes. Tip: look for bait fish like baby mullets or ghost minnows. No bait = no fish

Was this behind the Beau Revage? Can you still find flounder in high tide? What time of the evening do you go?
@vinhttrinh10 ай бұрын
No its not behind beau rivage. We tried behind there once and there wasnt any. Yes flounders are around all day long, but we go 2hrs ahead of peak lowtide because thats the only way you'll be able to see them. On hightide the water is too deep to see them but you can still catch them on rod/reel free line a live finger mullet
