Yeah, watching that Tua vs Cameron fight, couldn’t believe that fight ever happened, absolute disrespect to the Tuaman to fight a bum like Cameron. Even more so as Cameron’s next fight was a joke fight against John Hopoate. Yeah yeah yeah, I’m being too harsh on the “Mountain Warrior”, but c’mon, Tuaman hadn’t fought in 2 years and was far from the Tuamanator of the 90s and early 2000s, yet barely broke a sweat.

Great to listen to Shane’s backstory - really insightful - we were the bike company in Queenstown that Shane found his treasured racing bike in. So awesome to hear Shane’s story and fantastic the bike is now back with its rightful owner 👍

If you're gonna do a podcast on NZ comedy could you get an actual comedian on next time? Rather than the most try-hard, unlikeable, unfunny, woke egg on TV.

Fantastic pod lads - as always! On Brooke's NFT adventure, he may want to look into NFT's on Chia blockchain - baked in perpetual royalties, contract enforced. Very interesting and at least superficially seems to align with what he's trying to achieve. (Not financial advice obviously) :)

Great podcast. Looooove the attitude to life, sport, people, the Kiwi way and fun! (The Bob Jones story reminds me of the CEO who goes on holiday to a little fishing village. Out on a boat he says to the skipper ‘you could have 10 of these and build an empire’. The skipper contemplates and says ‘to what end’? Well, says the CEO, you could then retire and spend your days fishing….)

He doesn't destroy both of them for the same reason he didn't destroy Ike, who pretty much stood in front of him. Tua was relatively easy to clip, and that would've taken him out of his rhythm. When Tua had something to think about, he wasn't as destructive. Name me a world class heavyweight that Tua destroyed.

No doubt Tew was a great Administrator for NZ Rugby. He’s very likeable and I warm to him. He grew up 2km from where I did… BUT.. when he said after leaving his NZR role he’s stayed out of things.. that is not true. He campaigned for Foster. He should have been challenged about this by the podcasters, who I also like very much.

interesting Steve made a stand against a rugby teaming being pick by race in 1981 touring nz ... thought the follow up question should have been how that stand compared to a side in new zealand being picked on race, but you guys didn't ask it

Hi guys. Love that you picked up on the Great Humans theme that was there with Ali, and Emma Twigg. I believe Zion Armstrong may have touched on it too. I do wonder if a lot of these high performing Kiwis are too close to the culture to realise that that is what New Zealand sport is aiming to do. I feel that New Zealand is moving away from the Tall Poppy syndrome, but they still police a strong 'No D*ckheads' policy. It's reflected in the concept that no one is bigger than the jersey. I remember my brother Michael talking to a room full of staunch Kiwi military and reducing them to proud tears by pointing out that the Silver of the Silver Fern is tucked away underneath. Not shy, but not brash either. I really enjoy how the two of you are able to consistently access this pride and kiwi culture from your array of humble guests. Nice work.

Worked for Shane for 4 years back at GrabOne, and I've never met a more driven, fast-paced individual with such conviction. Learned a lot from those days and am thankful for that time. Such love for chocolate, I had no idea! However, Shanes' love for Coops was very apparent. Rest in peace bud.
