I tried it and it was too much wind for me 😢 had to change to a different helmet with a face shield. It was still over whelming. The lil kids did fine... I couldn't understand

My favorite is Disneyland. Mostly because of nostalgia ❤. However we love California Adventure for the Wine Festival and Chinese New Year. Love getting the tasting cards at those events. If you haven't done those yet, I highly recommend them. 😊

We wear water shoes. Wear them at the lake too. Water park is definitely a good way to beat the triple digit heat 🥵. Hurricane Harbor is a fun spot.

Hi Rose, we went to Juneau, Sitka, Skagway, Victoria British Columbia, and Endicott Arm & Dawes Glacier. Shug gets sea sick also. She uses a motion sick patch behind her ear prescribed by her doctor. We bought excursion tickets through the cruise line and we also got excursion tickets from one of the booths at the port in Juneau. Thank you for the questions and have a great cruise. 😊

For this trip, we used a shuttle from the hotel, which was a paid service to get to the cruise port and then we paid Royal Caribbean to get on the bus to take us back to the airport. The other option we use frequently is either Uber or Lyft.

@@ShugAlansTravelChannel here in OKC we will be getting back in the upper 90's and 100 or so over the next week. We was already up there and had a cool front with a few days of rain come through and cooled it down to the mid to upper 80's the last few days. We was burning up until this rain came through. My lawn was already crispy.

You are very welcome! We know she's technically the biggest cruise ship in the world by her specs, but how does ICON feel in comparison to say one of the Oasis class ships? Does she feel bigger or seem bigger when seeing her in person? I hope to see her in the near future. To be honest, she feels bigger and definitely feels wider in comparison to the two Oasis class ships we’ve been on, Symphony and Wonder. We’ll be on Utopia of the Seas on her inaugural sailing July 19 and we’ll be on Allure of the Seas in October. Icon is a beauty and she feels massive in person. We highly recommend her as we do with the oasis class ships. Heck we recommend any ship we just love cruising lol

I had another cruise booked on Harmony for this November but I had to cancel for this year but I'll be booking one for next year or the first of 2026 soon. Thank you so much for the response and I'll look forward to looking at more of your videos and the Utopia video if you make one. I have some videos of my cruise on my KZfaq channel. They are some of my first videos. I have a lot of farming videos as well. I got a couple of the new Carnival Jubilee on there as well. Have a great evening!

Wow Yemisi, that is a wonderful comment and I really appreciate it. I’ll be honest with you Shug and I were talking about that this past weekend. We’ve both made a commitment starting today that we are going to return to the gym five days a week and eat better. I can’t guarantee. I’ll eat a whole lot better on a cruise with all that food, but I will when I return back home. Will be on a cruise later this month on Utopia the Seas and I will try and make a conscious effort to cut back a little but no guarantees on that one though, but on our next cruise in October, everyone should see a noticeable difference in my weight. Thank you for that comment. I really do appreciate it. 😃

I cannot wait till August 23 to go to my Alaska cruise from Seattle. Would you happen to know a good hotel that’s close to where I get the cruise ship Royal Caribbean from Seattle. I’m coming from Newark liberty Airport and I don’t wanna have to spend the night in the airport and then take, a bus to the cruise ship. Do you have a suggestion to a decent hotel please? Thank you. Hi Robin, we always get a hotel that’s close to the airport and has free transportation to the airport. Then we either get transportation provided by the hotel (at a cost) to the cruise port if they have it or we do an Uber or Lyft. They're awesome! I couldn't believe I ran into them on this cruise. I kept staring a them thinking to myself I know I have seen this couple before maybe on Carnival Jubilee back in February... So finally got up the courage to ask Alan if they were on the Jubilee because they looked really familiar to me. He said no they were not on that ship bet they have a KZfaq channel and then he handed me his card. Then it clicked!!! I have seen their videos here on KZfaq! LOL :)

Oh Shug, I feel for you! I was sea sick on The Legend last August due to the after effects of a hurricane. We were coming back to Baltimore from The Bahamas and were in rough waters for a night, our last sea day and most of the night getting back to port. I had sea bands on, but didn't help after so many hours of rock & rolling. Thanks for sharing your video. Oh, by the way, I like your shirts.
