This is a great quick dish on its own like a chilla which can be had for breakfast or dinner! although I wouldn't have it as an alternative to roti as the texture is not that great the inside remains wet due to the stickiness of the oats. Anyways its a good quick recipe thanks for sharing!

Ayoo this is just wheat dosa..it was my breakfast during school days……I tried this thinking it will come like chapathiii…😂 o god ..I remembered my mom rolling this with grated coconut n sugar and packing tiffin box..

In such method... Rotis take longer time to cook. So compared to traditional method this method takes longer time and waste of fuel is more

You toast almonds when you fry almonds in a pan with high heat for a brief period of time.

This is the same recipe as everybody else has the only difference is you used whole wheat flour. Not original not original at all 😔

I made this tonight. It was delicious. I had to make a few substitutions but it was pretty fool proof cooking it in the instant pot. Frying and grinding the whole spices and other aromatic ingredients into a paste is a game changer. Thank you for this recipe.

Hi there. Looks so yummy. Tried making this today and even though each paratha swelled, there was still raw dough in the middle. Any tips? Also, is your flour self-rising flour and can I use a rising agent? Thanks!!

I used only whole wheat flour. You don’t have to use any rising agent. Most probably it should have been kept a little longer in low flame to avoid raw dough in the middle.

All purpose flour is enriched and processed flour when wheat flour is healthy and natural

The inside will always be wet and sticky with this method. I tried all sorts of variations on this batter method. She probably doesn't tear the roti open in the video for the same reason.

Yes I had a similar experience no matter how long you keep it on the pan to dehydrate the texture is not that great while eating as we get from a normal dry kneaded tortilla/roti
