What you install that tile baseboard are you putting it directly on the floor tile or using spacers then using silicone or grout in the joint?

Hi. Thank you for this video. You say you pre-seal the tiles for this backsplash, but the link is to an installed floor. Should I just lay my tiles out on the floor, seal them, then install on the wall? Also, where can I find tips for cutting around outlets? Thank you!

Definitely not. You can use whatever colour mortar you decide to lay the tile. Happy tiling!

Hi! Can you cut this type of tile with a regular tile saw or do you need a special saw? Or just a particular blade? Thanks!

This is awesome. I have to install a bunch of tiles on the front of a staircase. Like on the risers of each step. I thought adhesive would be better than murder for that application but this confirms it would work

hello. i am also installing large format terrazzo tiles in a master bath...did you seal the tiles before installing. and could you discuss the grouting....thank you for the wonderful video..

Good day, and thanks for the comment. The terrazzo tile in the video is sealed after it is installed as per Aaron's direction. Hello! That’s an amazing video! I am putting some tiles in my bathroom soon and I was wondering how to put those tiles. I’ve seen other bathrooms and they put some kind of plastic on the corner that looked really hideous!! I was trying to figure out how to put those tiles in order to have my bathroom look neat! As a mathematician, the only solution I could think was to trim the tiles 45 degrees so that they could do the 90-degree corner! Then I found your video and I was so excited that my instict got it right!! Thank you so much for the info!

Yes exactly, I mean that I was seeing it from a whole different perspective when I faced that. I hadn't really thought about this until I needed to put my own tiles and I totally look up to all these incredible men (and sometimes women), who can give us this immensely beautiful result!

We do not recommend this for thicker tiles or larger tiles so it is best to consult with your tile installer. The install in the video is performed using 8x8 cement tile, which is about 3 lbs per tile. Thanks for your comment.
