I have had my amana washer and dyer for almost 11 years. Only had to change the heating element in dryer(4yrs ago) and we have went through 2 cords(previous years ago) now as of last night i have no power on it. You need to go into a lot more detail. For a handy person they don’t need this video but for the type of person you are trying to reach they need /want to see everything. How do you loosen the tension of the belt? If you are doing all this replacing a $15 belt is certainly worth it. Ect.

I just replaced the drive block on the same machine. The inside of the old drive block was striped (I had disassembled the machine a few months ago and it was fine then). After two loads the inside of the new drive block is starting to strip (the two grooves that line up with the tabs on the top of the transmission shaft). Ever see this before? Any idea? Thanks for your guidance.

So my pump is reading 14.1 ohm. Is this too much? The washer has no obstructions that ive been able to find, and yet still doesnt drain all the way...anyone have any ideas?

Hello! I bought a cheap multimeter at Harbor Freight, not getting any reading at all on the solenoids in my water inlet valve. There is a "one" that doesn't change on the left side of digital display. I have tried several settings. For years the cold water just barely trickled in, and during my lame attempts to fix this Maytag, I found out that the hot water hose has a permanent trickle leak and I have to have the spigot replaced. The machine is in a detached garage and I used to see water leaking out the back, the inside is dry. Since the cold water inlet valve was barely working, do you think that the trickle of hot water constantly going into the valve just blew it out? Where do you advise that I order a new water inlet valve? It's a Maytag A211. About 25 to 30 years old. In the past I have been able to leave you a thank you donation, but I no longer see that option. Thank you for everything, you have been a big help to me! 😺

Had a similar issue. Turned out to be the fabric selector switch. No voltage to the hi limit. Kinda odd.

my flame sensor says 051 on continuity and when i set the dial on setting 200 olms it reads 25.2 but it don't show 000olms like yours is it bad?
