The one with the Volkite turret? As far as I can tell, it could be the Leman Russ Incinerator, the volkite saker being a variant on the Volkite Culverin. It's very engaging, and you're right, you do have to think a lot about your card management, and plan what you're going to do on your turns to best help yourselves moving forwards.

Yeah it's got a lot of anti-magic effects, but if you don't come against many spellcasters, you'll be better off playing a different subclass. You should definitely speak to your DM before playing this kind of class.

It is, the subclass really plays into the endurance theme.

It does have a lot in common with the Moon Druid, I definitely prefer the mechanics and flavour of the Mutations druid though.

Those are excellent points, I'd overlooked the synergy with Bane - as you say it makes the upcast more useful, and Bane more useful in general. And Eldritch Blast on this subclass does go very well both mechanically and thematically.

Yeah, you've got 2x7 man units, although you can field them in units of 5, 7, or 10. Weapon wise depends on whether you want to go close combat or ranged, wargear is currently free in 10th edition so you don't have to worry about points so much. You're welcome, and welcome to the Death Guard! Charge and hope is pretty much how I normally play things too! Morty's rule is written really weirdly, I think it means you can ignore modifiers (such as -1 to hit) and that you can ignore abilities that change your characteristics (like the Death Guard's Spread the Sickness). I'm not 100% sure, so don't quote me on that though!

Looking at the individual price of those units, it seems very worth it for $300 AUD, Mortarion is $243, the Plague Marines are $91 and Terminators are $103, so it's about half the cost of buying it separately. You get about 750 points of units in the box, so it does give you a good core for starting an army - you likely won't use Mortarion to start with until you expand the force a bit more - but this and another character is a good start.
