i was trying to use the color selection tool that selects all of the color you pick and then erase it all but it always left white bits on the lineart (because yes i did that on the very precise and detailled lineart i just finished, even worse than the sketch). But then i tried this and it was just so freaking clean, thank you so much!

Another tip: if your background is a different colour you should color pick it, then under palette click on 'add a new color swatch(that plus sign under the palette)', then click on color, the background color name would be shown e.g. #dbd9cd. Copy it and paste it in the 'color sampler' area in 'color to alpha' Pin pls🙏🏿

Thanks soooo much for explaining it so clear and easy. All the other advicers on Google suck. This just took a second to understand. It is so important to scan and colorize paper drawings that are just as good as digital ones, or better.
