ok so practically for stopping yes you could do a t stop but that would ruin your wheels on a long term they are replaceable just lean your toe stop to the ground like as if you're dragging your leg i hope that helps also love your channel❤️

You’re amazing. ❤How long have you been skating? Ive been skating for about a year and i just started learning sit spins, laybacks and camel spins. Theyre all sooo hard. At least i finally got my scratch spin. I can only do a loop jump from and edge and not the back crossover entrance yet i just chicken at the last second and then dont land it. 😅

Was curious how many hours a week you are practicing/taking lessons? I'm learning as an adult as well, and I want to keep improving but keep it sustainable because at a certain point there is a diminishing return for sustainable mental and physical wellness. I saw this video about practicing an hour a week for each jump rotation, which I think is a handy guide:)

Good luck in the comp. Figure skating is a small world especially in the UK and the youtube algorithm is good at sending skating stuff to my feed. You look familiar and I will say hello when I next see you at my local rink. Your skills look good and I am sure you will do well in the comps. Hopefully you can get a program together once you have mastered the SSJ comps.
