Could say he was something of an artist who used industrial design as his medium of choice.

I never knew (of) Gaetano but that's not surprising. I am so glad to learn of him, though, and I appreciate this "expose." Thank you.

A but disappointing because if all the Collector Talk, which overshadowed the beauty of the pieces, but understandable since this was sponsored by an auction house. There are plenty of other videos on KZfaq 🙏🏽

I knew him in the 80th while studying at ESA, he had an ideological rigid approach to Architecture and life, he was not just a teacher but moreover a kind of Guru for many students. I attended his "atelier" in 1987 but left after 2 weeks.

Hi, this video is highly informative and very well curated. I was wondering if you have some suggestions of lectures/ documentary/ other materials to browse on this topic. I'd love to investigate it even further!

Hi Daniella, at 1:15 in your video you mention Robsjon-Gibbings work for Widdicomb. Is the orange sectional sofa by Gibbings? I found the image came from the 1961 Better Homes & Gardens Decorators Book book but I’ve never seen that sofa attributed to Widdicdomb or Gibbings. I’ve been trying to research for a friend who owns the same sofa. Thank you. I love your videos. Keep up the great work.

The explosive prices paid for displaced Wright designed objects has led to situations in which current owners can’t afford to buy back the objects AND restore or preserve the actual building. As the owner of Wright’s J.A.Sweeton house, also in New Jersey, I’ve found myself in that position. The “market” for displaced furniture and other “decorative” objects from FLLW sites has led to more objects being removed from the spaces they were designed to serve and compliment. By and large, the Wright designed objects seen in auctions and collections are parts of buildings still standing. These are not elements of lost works that are being preserved by collecting. If you want to collect Wright, buy a Wright house, live in it and maintain it. I assure you the experience will be enriching, and the rewards are incalculable in Dollars, Euros, Yen, or crypto-currency.

Daniella: I must strenuously object - there is no mention of conservatorship or stewardship anywhere in your video. It is one thing for The Met to have the room from the FLLW Little House - that house was razed in 1972 - it might have been nice to mention at that point in your video the excellent work the Frank Lloyd Wright Building Conservancy does to protect FLLW houses from being torn down like this and preserve them for future generations as the architect intended, rather than selling off the furniture like tournament trophies. There should be a section in your video dedicated to discussion of preserving the very buildings that still exist which these items were torn from. As the owner of FLLW's Stuart Richardson House, I would hope you reconsider and take a more ethical stand towards design - and treat it with the conservational care and respect it deserves, rather than simply treating it as a financial market to be plundered. Yours, Todd Levin

Dear God🙏♥️💕 in heaven, I come to you in the name of Jesus. I acknowledge to You that I am a sinner, and I am sorry for my sins and the life that I have lived; I need your forgiveness. I believe that your only begotten Son Jesus Christ shed His precious blood on the cross at Calvary and died for my sins, and I am now willing to turn from my sin. You said in the bible that if we confess the Lord our God and believe in our hearts that God raised Jesus from the dead, we shall be saved. Right now I confess Jesus as my Lord. With my heart, I believe that God raised Jesus from the dead. This very moment I accept Jesus Christ as my own personal Savior and according to His Word, right now I am saved. Amen.
