This book brings me back to my childhood and 5th grade at Bayville Elementary. Mr. Baxter was not warm and fuzzy, but he never talked down to us. On afternoons, when I am sure he was sick to death of us, he would read to us stories that showed us worlds we never knew existed. Call of the Wild was one such tale, and Sacre Bleu, it was damn good! Thank you for bringing that memory back to me.

Robert Goldsboroughs NW is markedly different from Rex Stouts. I actually prefer the latter because Wolf exhibits more emotion and has a sense of humor that seems to be lacking in Mr. Goldsboroughs version. Obviously Rex Stouts books were published way before political correctness was a thing. Certain ways he presents things are questionable to me 🤨 Thanks for sharing.

Being Australian, I find American accents foreign. Very hard to listen to but I'll preserve ‼️😜😂 Thank you Mr Murphy for this excellent rendition ❤
