does the tiny 2 lite come with the beauty mode in the software too? Great review btw!
@cabisports28 күн бұрын
Hello friend, great video! What are the differences with the OBSBOT Tiny 2? I want the best video quality and I'm not interested in many of the AI features. Are there differences in quality or did they cut costs by removing some AI features? Cheers
@SteamrollerProductions28 күн бұрын
To be honest the quality is pretty much equal to the tiny 2. The AI and gesture controls are all there and if you want to use it you can. I generally do not use them. I believe one of the big differences is in the effects in the app which the new Tiny 2 Lite doesn't have but quality is superb and cannot see any cut in quality from the original tiny 2 but it is much cheaper so definitely worth it in my opinion. I'm still playing with it but am highly impressed with it at this price.

How much heat when operating?
@SteamrollerProductions29 күн бұрын
It seems to be the same as the original Tiny .. it is a little hot but nothing worrying. When recording or using 4k it seems slightly warmer but again not very hot.
@JeanLaValley29 күн бұрын
Great video and testing features. I had noticed the LED changes. Questions: The Tiny 2 had a polished aluminium external case? The tiny 2 lite looks like the plastic (similar to the Tail Air). Is that true? Color temp does look different, I wonder if the sensor is different. I saw 1080 30 setting in the preview window, how does the 4k images compare? Does the HDR function work similar? Is the tiny 2 lite able to recognice hand gestures/ai features, I assume yes as well... but curious. And does it know it is sideways mounted for short form content streamers/creators? Meet 4k will flip to horizontal when side mounted, i am wondering how this one is? Oh... back to the casing beibg different. Once you have it on and running for awhile can you see if the heat of the product is not dangerous, but super hot or just warm... or maybe neither?

Thanks for the comment. I actually do have fill lights and key lights but did not use them on purpose to show the cams in a real life situation in low light. But I appreciate your comment thanks.

Upgrade your audio setup good lord
@SteamrollerProductions6 ай бұрын
Thanks for the comment . This is for a small budget setup and how it worked together as a one man setup. Most churches in the UK do not have any AV setup and so this is a solution to show off how easy it is. I have upgraded audio setups already and several solutions, but this was about the cameras and ease of use. It is meant to be minimal and to a budget.

Its a shame the video quality has been lost to time, presumably because KZfaq compressed everything down to 240p 17 years ago. This is such a brilliant performance of this tune. If the original uploader still has a full quality copy of this, that would be an amazing thing to see.
@SteamrollerProductions6 ай бұрын
Thanks.. that is a very good question. A lot of these videos I shot during the height of London music scene and unfortunately it was all for video CDs for the bands and before KZfaq was big. I will have to go through my archives and see if I have the original footage and then can reedit and upscale. I'll keep you informed but it may take a few weeks at least. Keep reminding me

The quality we get from these tiny webcams is amazing. I have a full sized ptz camera but the size of these makes me want to get at least one of these cameras.

They are very impressive little cameras. I am testing them in conferences and streams using NDI so hopefully will upload some edits in the coming weeks. Definitely worth it and get the remote as it helps not needing to use the app and multiple phones

Thank you for sharing what you have done with the Tail Airs at a live event. Are you planning on using them for filming at lower light venues, for example if filming a dance school show or am-dram production with the Obsbots at either side of the stage capturing the action on the stage remotely whilst say filming straight on with a manned camera from the back of the venue? That is something I would find valuable to know if you think that it would then all edit together well afterwards in post production. Thanks in advance for any thoughts on this question.
@SteamrollerProductions10 ай бұрын
Welcome. Yes I will be using it in my various Corporate filming/streaming setups. I have several upcoming jobs which I will be using it where the camera`s will be setup either side and in front of the stage, with manned XA55 cameras at the back of the venue. Once I have those and edited will share clips to see how it looks. Dance School shows etc I am unable to share due to privacy and GDPR so sadly that I cannot share.

I was using a power bank during the video. I believe on battery it lasts around 60-90 minutes depending on what you're recording (1080p or 4k) . I'll do battery tests in the near future
