One of the best commentaries of this film that’s with such rich HK history. Majority of the film was based on Yuyi’s novel which was the origin of the manga by XiMa, some of the fancy action sequences were based on manga per director. Sammo endorsement on the kungfu legitimacy of this film speaks for itself. Look forward to its prequel which will be about Hou, Chen, Di and Cyclone and a bit on Big Boss who actually reconciled with Lok in the novel. Also final chapter may also be produced at the same time, director Chieng also applied funds for Shin the TV series which will draw huge young audiences.

Great review guys. I really enjoyed the film. Yes it has kung in it but for me it's a really well made film in general. Let's hope this next gen make some great kung fu films that we can all appreciate. Walled in is a good start.......but I wanna see more shapes!

💯 this film is a throw back, even to the Chinese audio the Cine Asia Blu-ray or 4K may have an English dub when released, for those who prefer this, hopefully more films like this get released.

Yeah there are lots of throwback elements in there for sure which is nice to see. An engers dub well I suppose that's possible, I doubt that I would prefer it on a new film because they won't have the same voice actors from back in the day.

I enjoyed this film also, but I noticed some thing when in this film that next time I see you Steve I will point out what I noticed. Update, Steve you mentioned the fight scene the way & the length they were shot, that was what I noticed.
