Such a great approach for students to learn the whole process from hypothesis to conclusion! I hope to do a similar PBL in my science classroom in future. Thank you for the inspiration!

It would have been very useful if you had explained, ennumerated, and given examples for what you mean by gold standard, instead of explaining that gold standard is best. I watched 12 minutes and haven't time for the plug without info.

33’21” into his speech, he has hardly uttered the phrase “project-based LEANING”. Highly questionable how much his students actually LEARN in his classes, other than his stirring rhetorics about everything except learning, knowledge and exploring and thinking for yourself.

This is great. AND, this talk needs to make its way to school leadership who focus so much on testing and the ridiculous amounts of standards that focus on breadth over depth.

Any suggestions or resources on how to create a rubric for a project like this? Would you suggest one rubric with standards across the disciplines or a rubric for each component?
@BIEPBL
@BIEPBL 2 жыл бұрын
Hello Bianca! Since there are multiple products you may want to create a rubric for each product. Here's the link to the original Project Planner that the teachers in the video used: my.pblworks.org/system/files/documents/project_digging_dinos.pdf.
