I haven't listened to the full lecture as of now so pardon my injustice but bro I think the narrator seemed a bit bent towards Plato's philosophy from the beginning. This happens, but probably his idealistic world relies on ideas and a little less on realism where most politicians, if not all, rely on power, Swift action and other kinda if say evil measures as said by niccolo. Anyways, I don't try to master these philosophers ideology bcz thats what a lot of people do, they become academicians not philosophers. So I'm sorry if I have provided a less full input.

Thank you, Dr. Kreeft and Word In Fire for holding fast to Catholic truth. Listened yesterday, and this morning the first reading is Acts 3:1-10. Seeing, saying, (and in the near future) suffering, Peter and John witness for Christ. Instant conviction 😊, thank you! Come Holy Spirit, that I shake off the lethargy of the times and get about the work.

Holiness, the fullness of Christian life, does not consist in carrying out extraordinary enterprises but in being united with Christ, in living his mysteries, in making our own his example, his thoughts, his behaviour. The measure of holiness stems from the stature that Christ achieves in us, in as much as with the power of the Holy Spirit, we model our whole life on his. It is being conformed to Jesus, as St Paul says: “For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son” (Rom 8:29). And St Augustine exclaimed: “my life shall be a real life, being wholly filled by you” Pope Benedict 16

Catechism of the Catholic Church 360: (…)"from one ancestor (God) made all nations to inhabit the whole earth"(…) This one ancestor is called Adam. Therefore, the Blessed Virgin Mary is the daughter of Adam. Jesus Christ is the son of Mary. He is therefore the son of Adam, the son of Man. Hence, anyone who says that Man is the son of a “hominoid”, also says that our Lord is the son of an… I will not complete this sentence, it would be blasphemy.

I’m a Christian and a gamer at the same time. I think to have a good relationship with games and god is to try and watch what you play. I don’t really play a lot of graphically insane games anymore, just platformers and some adventure games like Zelda. I believe that these type of games can bring people together and create strong relationships. I also think the industry needs to see more Christian game titles because I think a game should not just be enjoyed because it’s fun, but enjoyed because it teaches a good lesson.

Wonderful, thank you. Yes, the 'Secret' of Mary. The most child-like thing we can do, before anything else - before obedience, faith, devotion, trust, understanding - before any of that, is to cling to the bosom of our Mother for nurturing, nourishment, comfort and consolation. May we all allow the Seat of Wisdom to share the Treasures of Her Heart with us. To Jesus, through Mary. 💕

We can find joy in any situation, but we have to let go of our conditions. Like, conditions, is, like, I'm like, everything will be fine, like all the time, like the also suffering I go through is removed from the feeling of everything will be alright in my memory. The joy of working for God is my permanent state of being and dontnknow any different.

In regards to the gigantic secret of the Christian, once you've changed in to a good person, you are like a changed man, you're gonna look behind you and say "I think I'm just gonna revert to the person I used to be, that less evolved version of me, that evil version of me, that less mature version. I think I've either changed or I haven't, and when I changed, like everything changes after a while, everyone changes after a while."

Thank you for YOU!....AND SHARING ABOUT GOD'S LOVE! God Bless you! May you continue to heal! Because LOVING AT THAT LEVEL IS PAINFUL, DEEPLY, DEEPLY PAINFUL. Satan has being trying to get back at Jesus for 2000 years, OUR only true Catholic apostolic christian church of Jesus. No other religion has lasted and will not last. Everyone else who is not catholic of other religions, you have the holy spirit, but you do not have the fullness of Jesus love, the fullness of his grace. All of you have an inheritance to come and get, I invite to come to a catholic mass and claim your inheritance of your seven sacraments. St. Michael the archangel defend us in battle be our protection against the weakedness and snares of the devil, may god rebuke him. We humbly pray and do thou oh prince of the heavenly host by the power of god cast into hell satan and all it's evil spirits who prowl around the world seeking the ruine of souls, Amen.

Kreeft interprets Kant a little bit ungenerously when he says that the will offers no absolute guidance for each person. Kant introduces respect (for the dignity of the self and other) precisely to that end. We must always see dignity as the only moral absolute and that is, als for Catholics, a very good basic guiding principle, I believe.
