All the car does is says malfunction light comes on and the pump will kick on for maybe 15 seconds then off it gosh

This is a scary question, why do you think so? SRS is usually related to airbags, pretentioner, clock spring, occupancy sensor, and sometimes phone module, I think it has nothing to do with mechanical issues. What is the problem?

@@BenzAddiction I had a fuel pump replaced while traveling…when I picked the truck up there was SRS light and check engine light on I asked y those lights were on and the mechanic told me they needed to be reset but that since I was in a hurry I can get that done anytime at autozone. So I proceeded to drive 171 miles and it drove fine I kept meaning to get it checkout but it drove so good for over the following month. Then one day I went to the grocery store and when I came out the steering wheel was just locked up I managed to get it home but I can’t operate it I have been researching KZfaq videos and have narrowed it down to a module replacement or a issue with them not connecting everything correctly when they put it back together after the fuel pump and I forgot to mention a new battery … But I’m so lost The fuel pump and battery was almost 2k just can’t afford to waste anymore money without having some kind of idea as to what is going on

@CharmayneTheGoddess You ll definitely need to diagnose the car using star, yes SRS faults need to be reset always.

@@BenzAddiction I replaced the camshaft sensor. But not the crankshaft sensor. Maybe I should do that next? Did you change both of those with your MAF too just not in the video? Thanks for your responses I hope you can help me further.

Thanks Allan, I like the needless look of the speedo too. It is well made and this is why we should not use impact gun around cluster (especially when removing steering wheel bolt) as it might cause vibration and the sensitive parts inside the cluster might go out of adjustment

If your AC does not work, the first thing to check is to see if the system has gas, if low on gas the pressure switch will cut off the power to prevent damage to the compressor.

@@BenzAddiction my system seems full on refrigerant, I can’t tell if my ac compressor is engaging because of the design.

Do you mean the cluster backlit? If so it is original just all the way bright. Or the front headlights? Those are factory xenons, gues it is standard on 500s.
