Humanity has a vast immaturity, arrogance, and ignorance problem, and there's not a damn thing that anyone can do about it.

Forgiveness should not be weponized. No one should tell anyone to forgive. This is a personal choice. If you can't forgive leave them behind.

I'd be concerned too if people were spreading a message about a guy that can resurrect the dead. It sounds absurd. They likely believed It to be some kind of magician or charlatan. Wether you believe or not, you gotta understand how they saw it. Anyway how did we get to this religious comparison? It is discordant with the very good explanations of trauma psychology.

I love this channel I've studied mental issues and complex trauma all my life and with these videos EVERYTHING becomes crystal clear incredibly fast. Thank you very much for your videos!! I dislike therapy but I would absolutely do therapy with you ! I feel it would be accurate and fast ( of course assuming I would do the work required to refine my behaviour )

Really, who cares? The narcissists do so much danage to other people and now we're wasting time -- again -- "understanding" them. Quite a lot of people go through traumatic things and do not become narcissists and turn to abusing and deliberately hurting others. The level of "let's find a way to understand their deep wounds" baffles me. No one pays anywhere near the same attention to their victims' wounds. Not even close. Have you seen what a narcissist does to a little child? What a narcissist ex does to his former wife and children? It's beyond obscene. No, I don't think people who do that are deserving of much empathy. I save my empathy for the people they hurt. I don't care if it's a spectrum, I don't care if you want to split hairs about whether someone is the diagnosis, the fact is they do unspeakable and lasting damage. If only we were spending all this time putting them in prison so they could no longer damage, and helping support and heal those they damage. If only we were reforming our family law courts and our shelters and our culture so that people stopped praising and rewarding narcissistic behavior, and started genuinely helping those trying to escape and rebuild their lives. Ditto for our government and our school system and things like sports programs and the entertainment industry. If only we could get religions to grasp how much they have contributed to creating and enabling and excusing narcissists, and how badly they have failed the victims. What we have here is kind of an unseen, unheard, unaddressed group of refugees -- millions of them -- flooding our planet and so far, no one is bothering to stop the abuse and the abusers. But a lot of people are getting rich pontificating about narcissists and narcissism.

I have always heard that the Bible story was about Gods people and their relationship with God, but now i understand that tbeir story is my story too analogous to my struggles and exactly like Isreal I have been wondering in my life's desert for 40 years, but i hope and pray that i can lead my children to the "promised land" so they dont have to suffer like i do.

My anger tends to flare up like 1-100 when I’m interrupted. It’s so embarrassing that I get so mad every time someone (specifically my kids) interrupt me. I’ve been trying to resolve this for a long time but I can’t seem to identify the trigger. I think it might be related to something from my past but I can’t figure it out. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Like when Brad got off the plane. Caused a narc injury. Now his kids no longer carry his name. Be careful who you marry. Narcissists are disgusting to the bone. This video is spot on. I also haven’t seen my kids in 4 years since I left my narc.

Narcissus rejected the love of a nymph called Echo and he was cursed by the gods to fall in love with his own image. The willful rejection of love is a key part of the story. I am not so sure that no one is a narcissist. If that is the case, then no one is a diabetic. My mother wasn't born with diabetes, but through a pattern of behaviors and choices, she has become a person with improperly controlled blood sugar, i.e. a diabetic. Of course, no one is born a narcissist. But if they show a consistent pattern of narcissism in their life, what is wrong with calling them a narcissist?

I remember the first betrayal from my mother was when I was around 5. I told her that I had a headache and her response was "you are a headache". A few years later she left without warning. My sister and I stayed in our house alone for a week without food or electricity until I called my dad to tell him. I remember being happy she didnt come back. My dad took us in and that was a whole other trauma filled trainwreck.

How can we get so many autoimmune diseases if our immune systems shut down? I recognize the body saying no, though. Was abused online by a psychopath and developed joint pain. While in the most pain, he stepped the abuse up. When I didnt stop answering him, my fingers started shaking and I felt as if I was about to throw up. I felt my body saying "STOP!" Unfortunally too late. I now have 4 autoimmune diseases.

Unable to connect because the parent/s weren't available and unable to truly connect with them. I also think they are looking for validation they never got as a child. Children see themselves through their parents' eyes. The parenting that is thrown at them, is the way they see themselves. Empty. Scared. Unable to know who they are, connect with self or others. The narcissism is a cover-up.
