Hi, thanks for your comment; it is a good phone, but I would see what newer devices are available now for the same money. There may be a newer model available or other brands. It depends on what you want your phone to do.

Hi, thanks for your comment, yes the Mac would be charged via the USB C however connecting and docking through that port was an issue for me. Reverted to charging via USB C and connecting via HDMI.

Hello, I bought the same monitor last month, and it was a bit expensive compared to its alternatives. When I first got it, I was really impressed by the beautiful colors, and the bezel-less design just blew me away because it's hard to find a monitor with no bezels on all four sides. I bought it mainly for design work and occasionally gaming because I found the color gamut to be sufficient. However, after using it for about a month, I noticed yellowish stains appearing on the right and bottom edges of the screen. The yellow spots started appearing on the bezels, and they kept getting worse over time. Eventually, I decided to return the monitor. Now, I'm thinking about purchasing the same model again, but I'm worried that the same problem might occur. Have you experienced anything like this with your monitor? Or do you have any of these yellow stains? I’d really appreciate it if you could share your experience. Thanks!

Hello, Thank you for your comment, and I'm sorry to hear about your experience. I didn't notice this, but I know it can happen in a small percentage of monitors. If you like this monitor, you can purchase it again, and it should be perfect. It might be that you received a defective display.

@@RickysTechTalk I ordered monitor again but the one that came was the same. Either there is a problem with these monitors or the ones I received are faulty. If I had the chance to send a picture I would send it and show it but I guess KZfaq does not allow links. I set the monitor to 100 brightness and cold colors, it becomes visible that way. I would be very happy if you could try it and get back to me.

Are you happy with the colors on this monitor? I've tried several IPS monitors over the past few years and i found them all somewhat weird... are the colors on this monitor natural, not too oversaturated, not lacking in any specific colors?

Hi, thanks for your comment. For the price and spec, I felt the colours looked good, the content was enjoyable, and I didn't notice I was let down. For oversaturation, I would suggest a Samsung monitor. Like their mobile phones, the colours pop and look too bright sometimes, but they are great when watching movies and playing games.

@@RickysTechTalk That's the thing, I don't want an oversaturated monitor, because my eyes are very sensitive and are easily strained. That's another reason for me switching monitors, I can't seem to find one that doesn't strain my eyes. I've heard good things about this one (and 242B1H) and have my eye on it. I've tried Viewsonic VG2719 before, it looked kind of strange and warmish, blues were kind of weak, wasn't too crazy about it, so I sold it. Just one more question: how does the blank screen look in the dark? No severe backlight bleeding?

With your comment in mind, this is why I like Philips monitors as they offer flicker free technology plus low blue mode which helps me so much due to my poor vision too. This monitor was ease of use too.

It doesn't read for me both.. at the same time.. If I put sim 1 only it reads normaly and if I put sim 2 only it also reads perfectly but together it only reads sim1

Hi, thanks for your comment, this is it is a dual standby device which means when is in use the other is'nt. Dual SIM Dual Standby mode allows a device with two SIM cards to make or receive calls using either SIM card. Both SIM cards remain active while not in use. When a call is initiated using one SIM card, the other SIM card becomes inactive until the call ends.

@@RickysTechTalk thank you for replying to me.. I am aware it is dual sim device and when one of them in use the other isn't. But for me it is not the case. I am saying that I have inserted both sim cards but sim 2 is not showing not activated not in the bar above not when I open sim management. But when I take out sim 1 it works perfectly and when I leave sim 1 and take out 2 the first one which is sim 1 also works perfectly... The problem is when inserted together only sim 1 appears in the bar above and works for me.. Sorry for the long message English isn't my first language.. and thanks again for taking the time and reading it and replying to me.

Can I check both sim cards are 4G, also have you updated to the latest software, seems simple sometimes causes big issue. Also with the device being out a few years it wont be support by Huawei. I will continue to see if I can find anything else to help.

Hi, other than these steps, I am unsure if it is possible, however I will continue to look for you, On your Android phone or tablet, say "Hey Google, open Assistant settings". Under "All settings", tap Lock screen. Turn Allow Assistant on lock screen on or off.

Hi, thanks for your comments; this video was created over a year ago. I suggest looking at what other models are available now, especially the one I've just released for review. I must say the deep colour black levels were good for watching movies and playing games, especially when you can see my experience playing the new Call of Duty.

I own the UL4, but don’t see the 5 being a significant enough upgrade, sadly, as they’re just not really bright enough for proper everyday, all day use as a tv. I’m stuck only being able to watch things after sundown 🤷♂️ (once the lights are out the experience is grand, but that’s a big “if” :)

Hey thanks for your comment. I completely agree with this model as well. It does need to be dark and it is mentioned on the box and in the details that does need a dark environment and I think that's because of the a short throat projector as well, and maybe the brightness could be increased with the amount of lumens available. Let's look forward to the new models and see what improvements they make.

Contrast seems reasonable. Though I might prefer even slightly more colour gamut... (No, not at a higher price, though I'm not getting into a discussion about it. Aside from mentioning I have an older, inexpensive monitor with about 99% Adobe RGB coverage, the Dell UP2516D, and I would just like one with Adaptive Sync, a little faster, and a bit more contrast. This one has 93% Adobe RGB, which is great, and if it extends in another direction it might even be just as "good" or "better" in theory, and it definitely doesn't exclude it for me, but it's something of note. That aside, I'm not totally sure about the reaction time yet.) Edit: Okay, I've found a review of the 27M1F5500, on totalgamingaddicts, which says the contrast is 850... I mean, normally it rises above 1000 with the right colour settings, compared to the out of the box settings (seen before in reviews and results), but still, it is disappointing. I think lasting satisfaction needs at least close to 2000, or else there are always moments, especially at low light, where one thinks, the blacks look too bright or the image doesn't pop right.

I bought the Philips 27M1F5800 for 350 € from amazon Warehouse Deal :) and so far I'm really impressed. The colors are fantastic out of the box. Lots of connection options etc. But when I set the monitor to 144 Hz in Windows, I have a Screen flickering in games with activated or deactivated Free Sync, only when I reduce the Hz to 120 is the flickering gone.
