The Lower Great Lakes is not a low cost real estate region. It's cheap compared to Gramercy Park or Dalton Georgia. Nevada - Utah? Spell that Parks and BLM. It's still a good topic.

Stupid list and a trash opinion. The Grand Canyon is amazing. If you don’t think so there is seriously something wrong with you. Niagara Falls is also awe inspiring to anyone with a functioning brain. Times Square is the hub of capitalism in the world. You are LAME

Stay out of Dunnellon and Ocala Fl. It is cheaper there but big trucks are taking over and threatening to run you down. I live in the next county and have a lot of friends down there. They are frightened also. Some friends in Ocala have told me about being attacked over the years. A Hispanic friend said recently that people walk up to her in Ocala and say: "Where did you come from? Go back! Meaning they think she is an illegal immigrant! On the way home from Dunnellon this year I've been rear ended but had a big truck with good brakes.: Driver took off. Then a few weeks later a truck ran the redlight at the same intersection as I and another driver were pulling out of the intersection turn lanes. We slowed down and barely got our without crashing.

Western Kansas has been dying for some time. No one is flocking here. The western half is borderline desert in a largely agricultural area. The Arkansas River has been used for irrigation by the farmers in eastern Colorado. The farmers have pumped the Oglala aquifer dry. So water is scarce. So farming is shifting towards drought resistant crops like wheat and sunflower but that’s the only thing out there. Oil is a small time operation but there’s nothing else. No mining or tourism. The older population is dying off and all the young people moved away. So it’s hard to find doctors or lawyers. Some counties have scholarships to pay full ride educations for medical doctors to move out west and set up their practice for a few years. Oftentimes they’re the lowest in the class. So the quality of care is poor. My grandfather complained about chest pain in his 80’s. The doctor didn’t give him an EKG just to be sure. But instead told him to take an antacid. He was having a heart attack and damaged his heart if only he was given proper care upfront. This isn’t an isolated case. Kansas outside of the major towns is a dead zone.

Atlantic City... I was there when I was a kid... close to 50 years ago. The main thing I remember is the world's largest ash tray... I mean the beach. The entire expanse was nothing but masses of cigarette butts stuck in the sand. The trip there from Philadelphia was to "visit the beach and swim in the ocean." I wouldn't even step onto the sand. There was no place I could put my little feet that I wouldn't have at least 3 cigarette butts under me. So we went down the boardwalk, crowded with people and sea gulls, to look at the sad gift shops.

I disagree with the Grand Canyon,Time Square,Niagara Falls and Hollywood especially if you've never been.I agree with the Alamo being on the list.I never been to New Mexico,San Francisco or Atlantic City.

I saw Sedona before the Grand Canyon. I prefer Sedona. I also went with a broken foot both times (I used to live in AZ. My friend and my sister visited me within 3 months) I also love Times Square. I performed at Carnegie Hall. We had rehearsals at a hotel downtown. It was magical. In conclusion, I am biased over life circumstances!

Have been three times to the USA, and I found it exciting. Yes may be Times Square not sooooo much, but it is part of the USA-life style. The only place I was disappointed and even felt cheated was in Key West when visiting the "Southermost point of Mainland USA". Sorry... but Key West is an Island, and not on Mainland USA, even there is a bridge. And anyway - that place was underwhelming. But I love to come back and discover the nice places in the USA.

Lived and worked in way eastern Kentucky. Would not move to West Virginia, 6 miles from where I worked in east Kentucky, because no one in my profession could get insurance there, no matter how much we would pay…We do anesthesia. That’s right, insurance companies will not sell malpractice insurance in West Virginia, because so many malpractice cases have been litigated for so long that insurance companies refuse to offer malpractice insurance there.

How about a list that includes towns where it is possbile to live in a mobile home on your own lot? Even in the county, I am social security only income and even with my savings houses are impossible. I own the mobile home I am living in, but I am in a mobile home park and tied to the lease, I would like to buy a home on its own lots. I live in Florida, is there any places that this is still popular??

Most of you are not going to like this... religious people are the most fake. I do not care what religion, y'all so fake it is unreal. If you want to be religious and not be fake, quit pushing it on other people. You cannot do that. Your church brainwashes you to think that you HAVE TO recruit so the church can make more money. Yes you have been brainwashed by very corrupt people.
