I’m an ethical vegan and WFPB and the Campbells are heartfelt pioneers and heroes for me. They have a truly sane, compassionate and logical approach to this way of living. It’s been frustrating to me to have other adherents insist you can never eat small amounts of salt or sugar to make your food enjoyable. I’ve seen too many people in this community go off the deep end with their insistence on a type of reductionist purity. Loved this interview and kudos to the Campbells.

I suffered from metabolic syndrome (obesity, high cholesterol, high triglycerides, and high blood sugar). I went whole food plant based no sugar oil or salt and I lost 65 pounds, all my conditions greatly improved, my gums stopped bleeding, and erections and energy returned. I used to have an appetite that was never satisfied; whole foods cured it. I no longer use a sleep apnea machine. Finally, the food is cheap-Beans, lentils, rice, potatoes and seasonal apples. I am thankful to all the vegans who suffered attacks to reveal the truth to me.

The World Health Organization (WHO) has labels processed meat-like bacon, ham, jerky, pepperoni, sausage, others-a class 1 carcinogen like smoking. Beef has been labeled a class 2 carcinogen. They lead down the road to cancer.

70-90% of meat is contaminated with the animal's own feces. Enjoy eating the poo.

If it weren't for the loud music, this would be a great video. If I wanted to listen to music, I'd watch a music video.

This is VERY good! It makes quite a bit and I put it on nearly everything I ate for lunch and supper for a week. I will definitely make it again!

Yum! Fig Newtons were my favorite cookie when I was a kid. My newly acquired fig trees are only 4 inches tall so it might be a year or two before I am ready to make newtons from fresh figs. No worries. In the meantime, here I come, Sprouts or Costco!

It's amazing. I was just debating two of my friends on FB about this. They're completely hung up on Keto. SMH. And health insurance is a joke. How can the needs of a patient be measured against shareholder profits? They are in direct opposition to each other. It's ridiculous. Only in America would this happen. Profits over people.

My three children and I, then 19, 21, 22 and 56 switched to whole food plant based eating 7 years ago and we've never looked back. My one daughter is now an M.D and one other is in med school... these young people are the the face of the future, not only as parents who will raise plant based families but as professionals who will help others in living a healthy lifestyle. Our Canadian government has also made some positive steps in taking dairy off of our food guide...

50:30 in my opinion, doctors who do not read up on current medical literature should be fired. They certainly get paid to do so. Our culture rewards bookworms .

Thank you SO much for your recipes and for showing them through video. I need everything spelled out for me (visually is better) and the fact that you showed us how to thin it out and what 'toppings' we could put on is SO helpful to me!

Physicians are scared because they will lose money, possibly their jobs if people really knew the truth on how to take care of their body through nutrition, diet and exercise there would be no need for Doctors or pharmaceutical companies.

Is the Prego marinara you use oil-free? I can’t find anything in the Prego brand that is oil-free in my area.

It has a very small amount of oil which is why I mix it with crushed tomatoes. I wasn’t near Trader Joe’s but they have a fantastic oil free marinara.

@@kimcampbell9107 The Trader Joes in my area no longer carry their oil-free marinara. ☹️ The 2 places I can find one are Whole Foods (their 365 line) and Aldi.
