Daniel! Fantastic tutorial. Might even qualify as a THREEtorial! I’ve designed my seats for my 205 on the website, but I do want to send you more photos of the actual frames to make sure it’ll be compatible with the 206. Unless maybe you’ve answered that question since we last spoke back in December?? Can’t wait to sniff some glue. 😂

When it first came out we called it pleather.

Strange, used to sell bmws for 6 years and getting cars in on trade all of the time tends to disagree with your statements. The vinyl always came back not cracked and just fine, whereas the leather after 5 years would show wear and sometimes cracking 🤷‍♂️

thats really interesting. there must be certain conditions where vinyl does better. my experice having owned a couple bmws from the 70s that still have perfect leather seats I would tend to disagree. leather does age faster than vinyl but holds up much longer. once vinyl goes its no longer containing the foam. leather tends to look aged but still doing its job.

we can facilitate that but we mainly just make upholstery kits that mechanics can install.

Sport aircraft seats are the best thing going for fixing up the old, tired, uncomfortable seats we’ve all endured. I have a set in my 170 and I couldn’t live without them now.

When you can take off in 25 feet yep, flames I believe are a requirement. But check with the FAA. 😂

@@Sportaircraftseats I’d be happy to be a Guinea pig. Many old bonanzas have similitude seats as mine. Later model bonanzas have a variety of different seats.
