Timmy , You need to do Video's of your apprenticeship all the way thru . We need to encourage kids to do trades as much as possible and it would give a very good idea what is involved , My son is 3rd year Heavy diesel mech in Adelaide and Im a 30+ yr fitter Welder and almost every trade is struggling . Good Luck with what ever ya do mate .

Do not sell that boat, you will regret selling very quickly. Put it in storage. Plus so many people donated their time, and money to get this boat built and outfitted.

What’s the jigging rod you were using ?

If you wanted more economy and not as much speed, more thrust to stay on plane at lower speeds, more grunt getting up on step, get a 4 blade stainless prop, just make sure if you do reduce the pitch by at least 2, depending on the weight of your boat and #pax you regularly carry you may have to reduce the pitch even more, you still want the engine to achieve 6,200 RPM. The Merc guys can help you find the right 4 blade. That boat looks great on the water. The trailer is awesome too.

Nice trailer but most public boat ramps have a current which means the boat will most likely be loaded at an angle. You need heavy cuty boat guides on the back
