Yes, it's a standard ethernet cable with an RJ45 connection on both ends.

Is it possible to use EZstation to view a video that you previously downloaded? I have a .temp file, which is how it was downloaded from EZstation. Unfortunately, I don't have any other software to play it with. Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks!

A .temp file is a partially downloaded file. There's no way to play it. A completed file should have a .mp4 or .ts extension. You could try changing the file extension from .temp to .mp4 and see if it plays with VLC Media Player. You may be able to view some of the footage - let us know if it works!

@@xlrsecurity I remember many occasions where I've shifted through a few hours worth of motion alarms to try and find an event! As I was going through I kept saying to myself "why don’t they make it so you can search motion detection through a grid area similar to how you setup motion detection in the first place". Thanks for covering this!

Yes, a Uniview NVR should work with your Bosch IP camera. You'll need to make sure the Bosch camera supports ONVIF, but I expect that it will.

We have eight cameras and all of them are either 4MP or 5MP. They are recording continuously 24/7 and we enabled Uniview H.265+ advanced codec on most of them.

You'll need a security torx bit - specifically T10 but they usually come in a set. Make sure it's a security torx with a small hole in the center. A regular torx won't work.

A site to site VPN connection would be better for security but not sure about performance, have anyone try this ?

I have gone through the troubleshooting steps numerous times and am still 'offline'. Updated preferred & alternate DNS to the 8.8.8.8 etc. When I run a 'test' the note says to check IP address and gateway & network cable connection. I did run a test and the IP is available. So I'm guessing the network cable is the issue. Weird thing is I did get it to go 'online' when we installed it all and then after a blackout I've not been able to get it back online since.

Higher shutter speed can make the plate number more visible than slower shutter speeds. It's not really about the frame rate of a camera but rather the shutter speed is what really matters.
