Yep, China has been my home for the past 18 years and did not encounter any bad experiences (well once very early with a black taxi ride but apart from that nothing). I have been called worse names but I believe in the right of people to be retarded so everything they say to me can and will be ignored as it does not bother me 🤣

Thank you Ikky for sharing this. I am a native of Yunnan. It took me 3 days and 2 nights by train from Yunnan to Beijing in 2000 when I left for abroad. How amazing it has developed in the last decades. Just wondering how long is the journey? I might be better off taking this route the next time when I visit my home village. It usually takes 5-7 hours to transfer to the airport.

Apologies for the delay in response! Yeah mate, China has made tremendous development in terms of infrastructure especially railways. You may even consider a flight to Kunming Changshui International Airport that has replaced on 28 June 2012 the old Kunming Wujiaba International Airport, which was later demolished.
