Thank you very much for posting this, I just listened carefully in to out and I'm now certain I've never come across this demo with the double take in my Beck archive. The release that I was, and I think most might be familiar with never really resonated with me... but this does something for me at least, hearing Beck loosely emulating Daniel's distinct singing kind of in the way you catch yourself singing in a Brittish accent for example to any Brit Band of your youth obsessions... just cause you're that into it, right? Not exactly the type of thing you do when you're a distinguished mature creative voice of your own making like Beck, even at the time of tracking this. Maybe I'm nerding in to this a little hard here, but I can kind of hear him really zoned out and deep into the song, really channeling it, which I really don't hear in the released version, leading me to shrug it off as just kind of another True Love cover, but this is a very cool find and gives way more context, which enriched my listening experience now of all of these together. I'm not sure where he was, but Beck was sitting in a stairwell playing this. I follow his IG, and it just popped up one day, and that's most likely the reason you haven't been able to find this on any recordings.
