The French Quebec Laws and the prejudice against the English remind me of the repressions that the African Americans experienced in the slavery of the Southern American states. Or the superiority of Nazi Germany against the Jews.

and it only took a couple decades until this turned into another slum, and even worse in terms of crime and violence. Why is that?

This movie was once played and watched by indonesian locals in the year of 1971. It was shown in a documentary called "Wet Earth And Warm People" and you can search it in yt. Imagine being a local people in tropical country seeing people from northern working and living in ice and snow in the year of 71 when there is no internet and not every houses or family had a television or access into it

Thank you for this fantastic documentary: the soundtrack of my youth. Until now they were faces I had never seen, but voices so comfortingly familiar and burned into my psyche, Bob Kerr; Peter Gzowski; Howard Dyck; Clive Gilmour; Bill Richardson; Tom Allen; Peter Togni; Lorne Elliot, etc. Other teenagers had crushes on actors and pop singers, mine were Jurgen Gothe and Stuart McLean (RIP). CBC is not what it was, and those golden days are long gone. So sad.

Few years ago, I was criticizing this theory until one day I read the most enlightening book of all time, the Protocols of Elders of Zion, then I regretted everything I had done in my life so far now I won't criticize someone for writing their own history because indeed history is written by the victors, the one who is responsible for French and Russian revolution, the one who owns the Federal Reserve. You've been warned I'm still Christian btw

Most of these people have been traumatized by violence and abuse of every type. The worst part is is that the trauma plays in a loop over and over until someone you can trust shows you a different way our you die.

Robert Kraft's knowledge and insight artfully counterbalancing John McClure's tendency for pomposity; what a delight to watch all these giants of Stravinsky's music working it out

Stravinsky was such a character. His music sometimes so dark and dense, still he had a great sense of humour!
