Sir my son is 8 years old and he is tating breath from mouth mostly and last one year he was falling sick almost every month by cough and cold. Dr has suggested us adnoidectimy , is it must to get operated? Before this we were not aware of adnoids so now when we are aware of this, Iam giving him warm salt water for gargle, steam thrice in week, turmeric milk and honey lime twice in week, can we wait for some positive improvement. Hello sir, my daughter is 9year old, was diagnosed with enlarged adenoids 3 years back. Then in last 3 years I felt that she was not keeping her mouth open while sleeping. But few days back she got cold and again I saw she was sleeping with mouth open. I went to ent spec and he compared the x ray (recent and old one) which he said it's grade 3and there is no change. Suggested for surgery as she is unable to breathe properly through nose while sleeping and has started getting crowded teeth. Please suggest should I go for surgery?
